I used to go to Blondies weekly in the mid eighties & never had a finer slice.... However, I went today (after 30 years), reminiscing about the good old days, expecting the same old goodness. However... I was thoroughly disappointed with my pizza! The crust & pepperoni were burnt & the pizza was dry. Only took four bites and had to throw the rest away. This was not what I expected. Burnt crust is a deal killer for me.

Telegraph Avenue changed beyond recognition when the capitalist pigs won the culture wars. I'm glad Abe kept the name, the big sign, vintage playlists, the wide open windows, and the delicious recipes. The wall of drinks and touchscreen ordering, plus the addition of whole grain, vegan & gluten free menu items are nice novelties, and the prices are still student - friendly. You still get the feeling this is the people's 🍕 pizza!

After 30 years I was fortunate enough to have a slice of this pizza again. Different reasons for visiting Berkley this time though, no reason to swing by People’s Park anymore. Lol!
