This is an okay place to go for a beer and a steak. The fish sandwich is pretty good too. This isn't the typical steakhouse that I would think of when I hear the word steakhouse. It's more of a bar with inside seating....very, very casual. Like tank tops and shorts steakhouse. Anyhow, the food is good and the service is fast and friendly.

Went there Sunday September 20th in the evening. It wasn't busy when we got there, we were told where to sit and waited almost ten minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a couple of burgers. Food took almost 30 minutes to come out even though like I said they were not busy at all. Taste and presentation were mediocre. Both our servers seemed like they were high on something, one of them more so than the other. Made for an overall awkward experience. I still plan on returning at some point because I hear the steaks are great, just not optimistic about it.

I always enjoy a good steak & hand cut french fries. I have not had a bad dinner here ever. They have good specials & some so good you may have to choose a different one cause they run out. Cool drinks that vary. Like now it's Summer fare. I always enjoy coming here. The waitresses are very nice & friendly. Reasonably priced & all is fresh made no instant potatoes, hand carved steaks & spring mix salads. Come & enjoy. Louder atmosphere on Fridays & Saturdays, nice clean bar & Sundays have special specials! 😋😊 Yum❣

This was my first time here. The staff was very friendly and quick with our orders and all was correct. The location was fairly clean inside but the bathrooms were less than favorable. The menu selections were pretty good but they seemed to be out of several food items as well as beer choices. The things we ordered were pretty good and the price was fair. I would say it's a reasonable place to go but it is not fine dining by any means. I would go back and think it's a pretty decent place.

I really give Zach's 3 1/2 stars. Zach's has been around for a long time and in several reviews said that it's not as good as it used to be and I sadly have to agree. They would do well to up the food quality just a bit to get back to their old standards. Don't get me wrong - the food is not bad, but it used to be better. We used to go there a lot in the late '90s -early 2000's and then stopped because the food started to be terrible. We recently went back a few weeks ago to eat and found it was better than it had been. That trip we had good food (I ordered an open faced roast beef sandwich and I can't remember what my husband had) and the service was fine. We went back last night and the food was still good (I had the pot roast and my husband had wings) but the service was horrible. The waitress's were all very friendly and nice but things were kinda chaotic. Our food took forever to come (about 30 minutes) and then my husband had to wait about 15 more minutes for extra wing sauce. That's inexcusable. His wings were cold by the time he got sauce to eat them with. All you have to do is pour some sauce in a cup! Not hard! Again, the waitresses were very nice and apologetic but you could tell that it was not organized that night. Both waitresses behind the bar didn't seem to know who was taking care of which customer. Both asked to take our order, both asked if we needed additional drinks, etc. One waitress said something about she was training the other waitress that night but even so. Even during training you can direct your trainee to specific customers and you take the others. If I could give Zach's a piece of advice it would be to have waitresses dedicated to specific areas of the bar and not have it be a free for all like it was last night. From what I read here, service is hit or miss there and I agree. If they can work on that and improve food quality just a bit they will be much better off.

I went there last weekend with my boyfriend and our friend. From the outside it looks like a really cool hidden hangout spot but on the inside everything was very dated, there was no music so it was awkward sitting and waiting, and the staff was really trashy. When we arrived, there was a loud girl arguing with her boyfriend or whatever, they took the argument outside but she returned 30 minutes later. She actually worked there and was getting drunk and being loud inside with the other guests (later in our visit she approached us and appologized for the other drunk customers who were not bothering us, they were keeping to themselves across the room). Both she and our server who waited on us were definitely on drugs, both were spacey and very jittery. When I asked for a drink menu, our server shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know what they had to offer so she called the girl (from above) over to tell me what she could make. Our food was the highlight even though my chicken parm was soggy and cold and so were the burgers my company had ordered. At the end the two girls were loudly discussing what they would charge me for my drink and ended up deciding it would be $8 after they went back and forth on if it should be $8 or $4. Also found it funny that at the entrance they have signs posted that they will turn down service from you if you aren't wearing a face mask but none of the staff was wearing one. I will definitely not be returning.

The staff was great. Friendly, courteous and responsive. The food not so much. Chicken Marsala was bland as was the Ruben sandwich. The Pasta was delicious and so were the meatballs. As I was walking out, I saw other patrons eating steak. It looked and smelled amazing. Next time I know what to order.
