Favorite bar in Bend and John's the best bartender. Always an interesting and eclectic taplist. Wednesday trivia at 8pm with Cole is the perfect balance of nerdy competition and a fun, relaxing way to hang with friends. It will be a sad day if/when it does end up getting demolished next year so they can put up another Starbucks

Not only is the vibe great here, and the people amazing and knowledgable, they have the best rotation selection of beer in town! All the way from special edition to local beers. If you haven't made a stop in I suggest you should!

This is a super unique bar with a home brewing and bottle shop upstairs. It's all housed in a cool historic building that used to be a Nazarene church. In fact, it's one of the last remaining interesting buildings on 3rd Street in Bend. The bar always has interesting beers on tap. They get limited releases of some of my favorites, like Lagunitas. The beer shop upstairs has a unique selection of hard to find micros and imports. If you're a home brewer, this the place to go for supplies. Trivia Tuesdays are super fun! Also, rumor has it the building is haunted but the ghosts are nice.

Great beer. Has scaled back on food service. The real reason to go there is for the varieties of Beer. You can even purchase a beer from thier huge selection upstairs at the brew shop, then take it downstairs, have the server open it and enjoy it there. In fact you can pick out several upstairs and the will keep them in the refrigerator downstairs for you.

They've got a great selection of beer, fantastic food and the service to match! It's also got a great atmosphere! We keep going back and it's been consistently excellent. It's laid back and quiet, but that's not going to keep the doors open. Get in here people!

Always a nice time here. Has a comfortable, homey feel. Great rotating tap list and good food. Also, huge bottleshop and Homebrew Supplies upstairs. Don't have a picture .. But imagine 'these' people on there way to "The Platy".

Want to escape the trendy Bend tourist crowd? Chill in the roomy, relaxed very-local Platypus Pub! Small-ish but excellent beer selection, friendly staff, and love the church basement setting! Entrance is on the side of the former church; front entrance is for the brewer supply business. Go Beavs (and Ducks)! Yea, Platypus!

Stop wishing you knew how to brew beer, come here to the brew shop upstairs and the owners will help get you set up to brew your own!! The Black Rose Porter kit is amazing! And grab a beer down stairs in the pub, then go upstairs to the brewshop and they will set ya up! Great selection of bottled beer too!

Nice place to grab a beer and grub. Family friendly downstairs pub with a local flair, a dozen taps, and some cocktails. Service was friendly and knowledge about both local and regional beer. Inviting pub style atmosphere with a simple food menu. Upstairs is a full service bottle shop with over 700 beers. Grab a pint, or a bottle and check out the store or play darts downstairs. Overall chill atmosphere, and nice to have unique beers outside of the tremendous local selection. Priced very reasonably, with a happy hour too.
