Food, great! Drinks, delicious! Beer, lots! It has a better selection of beer than the brewery across the street 😉 The atmosphere is great for a night out with your man or girls!

Great food, awesome selection, great service. Had another great meal at BJ's. Friendly prompt service and great menu selections of freshly prepared pub food , as well as a loud but upbeat family or friends and sports bar ambiance.
A great add for them would be some low cal, lower sodium and sugar main courses......pretty heavy comfort food. Great tho.....and we will always go back......love the location, love the local patrons. Descheutes is just too full of tourists and hype. I love BJ's and will be back!

AMAZING!!!! WILL BE BACK!!!. I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bend(amazing hotel), and asked them about good late night dining options in town, since it was 10 pm at night. I had mentioned eating at Deschutes Brewery pub because we liked their beer. They told me that it was nice but a little touristy and to try out Brother Jon's Alehouse. They told me they had amazing food and beer there. So I took her up on her recommendation, and I couldn't have been happier. The restaurant outdid any expectations, and I have to say that to this date, I have never had better service anywhere!!!

Our waitress, Johnny, was phenomenal!!!! I cannot say enough great things about her, she was fun, light-hearted, welcoming, and one of the most charismatic people I have met.

We were looking at the beer menu for drinks and she came over and we told her this was our first visit to Bend, OR and we were here to try out some good beers and good food. Delighted she told us that we were in luck because beer was her specialty and that she would bring us over some samples.

As we were trying the samples she went over each one individually with us and told us all about them. Her knowledge of the beer's and processes blew our mind, and taste buds. During the meal we were looking for another beer to try and Johnny came back over with some more samples to try and we found our new favorite beer!!! She was extremely helpful and told us where we could go pick some up in a local market to bring back home.

For dinner, per Johnny's recommendation, we had the french onion soup (pure amazingness!!!), Portobello Sandwich, and the Beef Tenderloin Sandwich. All of the food was cooked to perfection and highly satisfying.

After dinner we were so full with no room for dessert. But we had another beer anyway... haha... I highly recommend coming here, we loved it so much we went back the next day before we left to go back home!!! If you are in Bend this place is a MUST!!!! Hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Johnny as your server too!!! AMAZING!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!

I found the service to be quite adequate, even after the place got real busy. Went there on a Saturday for lunch around noon time. The portions were good and the Boneyard hop vemon was quite stout. Definately will return.

Super Friendly Waitress and Hostess. They both made sure we had excellent service. The variety of beer was good. We got the Alehouse Club Sandwich and Chicken Pesto Macaroni. The Alehouse Club sandwich was an exceptional delicious portion. The Chicken Pesto was also tasty. Just be aware upgrading from a standard side such as chips to soup, salad, or fries is a costly $4 surcharge. Overall it's definitely a good place to check out in Bend.

Gwen got our big party in so quickly, going out of her way to accommodate us, she is amazing, thoughtful and so kind. Also, Alexa was our server and encouraged my wife who was overwhelmed with our 5 kids (that were hungry and up too late) and other other family with us. The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends

A great place with always dependable food. I love the large selection of different sandwiches, such as the french dip that i had, it was perfect! They also have amazing buffalo wings that are big and juicy. Don’t forget to try the bomb sauce with your fries or tots.

We love the food. We’ve gone a few times. It is generally loud, but not too uncomfortable to eat and visit. A few weeks ago the bartender BLASTED the music so loud we couldn’t hear each other at the table and clearly nobody else could because the whole place had to yell at their tables. The whole place was full of either families or older people just wanting to eat. The server told us the bartender refused to turn down the music and told us multiple tables were complaining. We left pretty disappointed. The place isn’t a club! Thankfully we tried one more time and it was a normal vibe again. But we won’t return if we have that experience again.

stopped in for lunch while in Bend for a conference. Random pick and was NOT dissapointed. Having a burger the day before from another local place, I tried the daily special on Friday, the Tuna Melt with Kettle Chips. very tasty and large I might say. Was full and completely satisfied. Service staff was super and friendly. Would recommend this place for great food.

Good little pub, well patronized so it's often loud and there may be a wait for a table. Service is friendly, food is fair but I recommend skipping the $4 upcharge for fries (they're very dry and unsalted).

Ate outside on a lovely July evening. Wings portion was huge! Great Cuban sando, yummy burger. Hefeweizen and chocolate stout outstanding.

Always amazing. The habanero cheese dip is to die for! Downtown location is a little more high-energy than the Galveston back porch, but despite the crowd you can still hold a conversation. Nothing on this menu will disappoint!

We rolled in with 3 kids under 5, during rush hour and Liv did a fantastic job serving us. Service here is usually great, but she went above and beyond! Exceptional service and the food was fantastic as well!

The service here is typically pretty weird and the girls never seem like they’re having fun at work. But the steak sandwich is great and I enjoy their margaritas. Wouldn’t recommend getting many of the cocktails off the menu as this place is not known for its cocktails but a beer or a basic drink can be done right and I’m always coming back for more.

The Buffalo Burger was delicious. The bacon was nice and thick, and manged not to feel lost in the sauce. I thought I might need some extra Frank's sauce before trying my first bite, but I didn't ^__^ I normally add buffalo sauce to blu cheese burgers when I'm at other places, but it was already on the menu 🥳🎉💯
