We loved the traditional diner environment, including the wait staff’s uniforms with aprons. The menu was mostly pancakes of all varieties, which makes sense. I prefer savory so I got sausage Pattie’s, eggs and potatoes. My husband got similar but with bacon. Both meals came with pancakes. Everything was very good. My husband wants to visit again and order the Apple Pancake, which looked so delicious. Plenty of parking, no wait, but there was a waitlist when we left.

This is one of the Best Original Pancake Houses I've eaten in. Although it was Saturday at lunchtime and they were busy I was greeted promptly. Seated shortly after. I was given enough time to review the menu and decide, but I didn't have to wait to have my order taken. The server was attentive. The bus staff were prompt, efficient, and quiet in their tasks but tables were never left un-bussed while I was here, but no one was ever rushed to leave. The food was EXCELLENT and although there is a wait to get your food because it is cooked to order, the wait was NOT excessive. The coffee was strong, but not bitter. I enjoyed my meal very much. This Pancake House may be a little off the beaten path, it's near Riverbend Park, it's well worth the detour. And although I would have probably been able to park in their parking lot if they weren't busy there was enough street parking long enough for me I wouldn't even try. I will definitely be coming back every chance I get.

Took a few residents there. We had a variety of different food and it was all good. Service was great and it was no wait to get a table. We had to try the Dutch Baby which was a fun thing to finally know what it was.

Be sure to get here early as they fill up fast. This local favorite place has been serving up pancakes and fun for years. Tried the special pumpkin banana pancakes and pigs in a blanket. They were both amazing. Worthy of a visit if you are in Bend

I enjoyed my food, I ordered the Pumpkin pancakes and a dutch baby with a side of whipped cream. My partner ordered the cherry kajifa crepes and a sausage patty. Everything was delicious. I ended up putting the pumpkin pancakes inside the Dutch baby and it was SO GOOD.

This place was perfect for us! We had a large group of 14 and even with a group of that size and a packed restaurant on a Sunday morning the wait was still not too bad. Was very clean and the service was AMAZING! We did have a few different servers helping us and they were all very nice and upbeat. The prices seemed a little high but they made sense when the food came out and we saw how big the portions were (everything comes with its own plate of pancakes). I ordered side items instead and it was the perfect amount instead of a full meal. Would absolutely eat here again!

I haven't been to an Original Pancake House in a very long time. There were 6 of us including 2 little kids. Our server was really on top of it and kept them happy and eating. The food was excellent, she was quick and friendly. I guess I won't wait so long to go back.

Had a solid breakfast. It was much better than the breakfast offered by the hotel I was staying at. I had the French toast and asked them to bring out peanut butter, which they did. The combination of PB and the jelly syrup was great in the French toast. I would rest here again for sure.

We always dine in, with that said, we also live in Redmond and frequent that one often. Bend has good food; service is okay from the waiter/waitresses there. Not a lot of engagement from them and they add the gratuity/tip onto your ticket for parties of 4 or more. Redmond does not do this, therefor we tip bigger at Redmond branch. Also, Redmond staff, we have found are much more engaging with you/us. I take my clients there, I have staff meetings there, all in all Redmond is better. Bend location does have fairly quick wait times, their orange juice and bacon are the two best items on Original Pancake house menu in both locations. You can't go wrong with their omelets and the marionberry syrup is fantastic! Highly recommend asking for that. Atmosphere is relaxed, shorts, t-shirt, no need to dress up here, come as you are.

Came here for a quick breakfast before leaving down. We had a group on 14 and they were able to get us a table in about 25min. Considering how busy they were I was really surprised. Our server was extremely nice attentive. She did a great job with such a large group and all our orders were correct. The menu had a good selection and really fair prices. I got the eggs Michael and was not disappointed! A more unique dish with a mushroom sauce instead of a holinday. Portion size was huge and the flavors were great. I was able to also try a taste of the ever popular Joe and that dish also had great flavor with the perfect seasonings. I think the only thing that lacked on any of the dishes was the potatos, they were very bland. I would for sure come back again and recommend to anyone looking for a easy breakfast option.

40 minutes wait to get in on Father's Day. Worth every minute. No frills on decor but the menu is a different story. Great variety, even some low calorie options! But the bacon is the highlight for me. Thick and cooked properly. Service was attentive even with the crowd. Blueberry pancakes are exceptional don't need more than the 3 stack.

This is absolutely one of the best places for breakfast in Central oregon. The food is fantastic the service is great and the atmosphere is very nice. Sometimes there's a wait and it can become difficult to find parking nearby. But it's worth it every time. The veggie omelette and buckwheat pancakes are to die for.

Wealth of pancake options, and their crepe selection is good too. We had the apple crepes and sourdough pancakes with a side of eggs and sausage. Spices on sausages are great and pancakes were manageable size - worth the money you pay! Staff was friendly and efficent.

Awesome service!!! We arrived Saturday morning and waited 20 minutes in our car till the pager went off. The food was over-the-top and everything we ordered we received!!!!! I highly recommend the pecan pancakes.
