Really enjoyed this place from the previous management. From our recent visit, it was 50/50. I feel the pain of the old timers since they no longer offer pita bread and hummus for starters. And champorado?? Not sure the spelling (chocolate sticky rice) was the bomb. Food, quality and price somehow became mediocre. I believe this has become the peninsula standards. Good that they remodeled and updated their menu, but still longing for the cozy and very welcoming ambience back in the days. This might be a great place for new comers, college students trying to be adventurous in trying new foods. If and when this place disappoints you, dont be discouraged for there are other great Filipino restaurants that you will need to discover. Overall, this can pass if you're truly hungry and is lazy to drive to SSF/San Bruno/East Bay like us.

A small hole in the wall place next to busy street. It's updated from previous location with modern and minimal design. Breakfast plates are 2 eggs, cooked with nice runny yolk, garlic rice and protein of your choice. Ordered TOSILOG (pork) and TAPSILOG (beef). Preferred the beef because there're less fatty pieces and less sweet.

So delicious!! My boyfriend and I decided to try this on a whim and we are so glad we did! We had an amazing brunch on a Sunday morning. Each plate comes with 2 fries eggs and delicious garlic rice. Everything was so flavorful and it really felt like a home cooked meal. New favorite breakfast place for sure! And affordable!

Great Filipino breakfast. Small, but they seem to do allot of takeout. Owner came over when it was clear we were new and explained the menu and where everything was. We sat down and he took our order, but it looks like you can order at the register and they will bring the food out. Coffee is self serve. Nice unpretentious vibe.
