Ma's Italian

Just an addition to my last review, they have finally re-opened on 16th and Main street form their old location on 8th Street. So excited this fabulous place is back and open in Belmar! The best local Italian spot anywhere near Belmar for a fabulous sandwich, salad or specialty of the day. My new addiction for the summer has been a specialty sandwich called The Rosie. Simply the most fabulous eggplant (thin sliced) baby arugula, peppers, fresh mozzarella and balsamic! The salads are tremendous and chock full of goodies. On my last visit I was only in town for one night so I got my Rosie sand for lunch and took meatballs some for dinner and just made a little pasta to add to it. Yum, yum. The place is small and quaint HOWEVER, the food is FABULOUS!!!! You come here once and you will return again and again. The owner, Anthony makes a mean cannoli too...
