I was a little disappointed,,but perhaps they are short staffed with the end of the summer. In the middle of the summer, I had the best Alaskan king, crab legs they were flavorful and juicy, and just beyond anything! We were there on my birthday which is September 14 -we got to experience a wonderful server she was exceptional-the views were amazing. I had clams on the half shell, which were briny plump and delicious.. so I thought I was in for a scrumptious birthday dinner.. I ordered the Alaskan king crab because it was so good the previous time. They don’t have a baked potato, which is fine.. yet when the crab came out, it seemed the mashed potatoes were a little brown but I believe some skins remain in them so I didn’t think anything of it. The first crab leg I ate it seemed OK wasn’t sweet. Seemed a little light in weight… I went in for the second.. but something was definitely off, and there was an ammonia smell, which remind me of faint blue cheese. I left a partial leg on my plate-so that the chef could actually taste without being contaminated with my touch. I told the server she very graciously told the manager.. A Gentleman that I’ve never seen before don’t know if that means anything as I don’t usually have complaints.. came over and really was not concerned.. I wasn’t looking for a free meal-yet he was so uncaring, and it looked like I was boring him with my story and that was definitely off putting. He politely let me know that he was doing us a favor by giving us a round of drinks- Again, I didn’t want a $65 meal for free and stated, but I would’ve appreciated the interest much more so than either the free meal or the drinks. As a local-and the amount of people I bring here as I’m usually here at least once a week if not three times a month the food has been so consistent this entire summer so maybe the staff is short .. But even the salad was not well dressed. The service is wonderful and the sunsets are spectacular.. I’ll always come back again and again, but to say I was disappointed with this one on my birthday is an understatement. I would still recommend- But off-season I would definitely be a little more cautious , and ask more questions

This place is simply amazing!! The food is delicious, and the ambiance is just outstanding. I have never been disappointed. The service is pretty good, too. Everything was outstanding, food tasted fresh and made to order. It can be a little pricey but worth the quality and experience, honestly. Highly recommend it. Just be cautious, it can get very breezy at night and despite multiple requests they didn't turn the fireplace on (they finally said it hasn't worked in two seasons), and when we were moved they said the heaters also needed to be serviced so they couldn't be turned on.

This was our first time visiting the Grille and it is definitely located in a beautiful area. Obviously, your goal would be to dine outside on the deck to look out on the water, however it is a 25-30 minute wait. Food was delicious, very happy with how they were able to accommodate to my allergy. I would have wished for our server to be a bit more attentive. It felt as if we were searching for her and it was a good 7/8 minutes before we located her in order to ask for something. My one and only complaint is the prices. Everything was entirely too expensive. The cocktails were super over priced for what looked like not a decent serving. If you are looking for an overpriced, yummy dinner with the possibility of a good seat on the deck, stop it here! Don’t know if we will be back, solely due to pricing.
