Surf Taco - Belmar

Went here twice in just a 2-week window. The staff were helpful in answering any confusions I had. The food was also great. I ordered beef tacos both times I came here for dinner. I also like that this place has free chargers for both iPhones and iPads. I brought Bluetooth headphones with me both times I went here, so I was still able to listen to radio stations out of Central/Northern Arizona while waiting for my portable charger and my iPhone to reach sufficient battery for a 5-Hour trip back to campus.

We absolutely loved the Surf Taco we visited a year ago in a different location, and sought out this one for our 2022 beach trip. It didn't disappoint! $27 covered small meals and tip for two people, and the quality is fabulous. We love the salsa bar! They had no problem at all with my food allergy, and handled it perfectly. (Me: Mahi Taco. My partner: Buffalo chicken burrito. Two bottled drinks; we didn't see the fountain until too late. The taco and burrito each came with a handful of tortilla chips, not heated but still fine.)

My first time at Surf Taco. To start, Anna, the cashier was so sweet and willing to assist me in making a choice. I ordered a 2 taco combo which included rice, beans, tortilla chips and a fountain drink $11.55. Each taco can be a different choice. I chose 1 tempura fried shrimp taco and 1 beef taco. Both DELICIOUS!!!! The shrimp were huge, tasty, not greasy and topped with shredded cabbage and white cilantro sauce. Anna asked me if I would like the beef taco shell crispy. Of course I said yes. It was obvious that the shell was fried fresh right before serving and loaded with tasty , quality ground beef and piled high with 2 mixes of shredded cheeses. The plate was piled with white rice and black beans. A whole lot of food, enough for 2 people to share. Anna, you will be seeing more of me. Thanks for being so nice!!!
