The pan seared scallops over asparagus and mushroom risotto is one of the BEST dishes I’ve ever had, it’s amazingly tasty! My husband loves the lamb chops, cooked perfectly! Truffle sauce is so yummy! All the meals are absolutely delicious , the atmosphere, the staff, I LOVE this restaurant!!

Food was excellent. Service was friendly and very helpful. Dining room was a bit loud mostly due to acoustics. Pleasant amd wonderful atmosphere.

Found this gem in the heart of the quaint historic downtown of Bellport Village after seeing a show at the Gateway Playhouse. I was not disappointed with anything. Looking forward to going back soon.

Food, service, and atmosphere were great, but the drinks were a little short-changed 👎 meaning they were small and less desirable taste wise

Delicious Corned beef and cabbage. . Cabbage was velvety!! Great rainbow cake!!! Sat right by the fire place. !!!

Lovely Sunday afternoon spent here for drinks n dinner. Food was Delicious! Waitress knowledgable, very pleasant and attentive. Dessert apple crisp in a jar (ugh?) NO you must try it!

I attended a baby shower here today. It was amazing. The waitresses Anna and Nicole were fantastic!! The food was so delicious. I will definitely be back.

Food is masterly delicious. Fine dining tuned to long island cuisine and awesome staff. Excellent whiskey selection and even better bartenders. Highly recommend, especially th steak tidbits.

The lobster roll is my favorite! The crab cake is delicious and I love their strawberry lemonade. The veranda is so nice to sit outside and dine in the summertime. This is one of my favorite restaurants for summer.

A lovely outdoor eating experience (though inside is available) to make one feel at ease and enjoy a scrumptious lunch. Lobster roll, fresh and tasty, a cold Summer beer and a peaceful respite at lunch. Not inexpensive, but worth the treat!

Great place to have lunch or dinner. Bring the family for some excellent food, weather permitting you can sit out on the porch and eat with that someone special or maybe the fireplace room if you would rather be inside. 5 Star dining at affordable prices, and the portions are definitely in your favor. The staff is courteous and polite. After dinner head over to the bar to make some new friends or just hang out with some old ones. It really is a great place. Even does party's and has its own parking right out on the side of the building. Definitely recommend you come in for a bite to eat and make some new friends.

Food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Crab cake BLT is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. Awesome drinks, fine, friendly service. Just awesome every time! 👍👍

Adorable restaurant with porch seating in the little town of Bellport. The service was timely and curteous. I had the lobster Mac and cheese, and it was excellent. Will visit again for sure

Went for evening drinks and dessert. Got the creme brulee which tasted so delicious! Great customer service and overall a great spot to unwind after a long day.

The reason for the lower ratings is that Porters has decided to try to be more of a bar than a restaurant this summer. Every time we go or have gone it is too loud to talk no matter where we sit even recently out on the porch the music was so loud that we felt constantly irritated. There was no need for it. The other thing is they seated us right next to the only other couple on the whole porch and we could hear every single thing they said and likewise they could hear us. Rather frustrating and unnecessary. Next our usually very attentive wait staff took forever to come in and out to the porch in between moments of needing to touch base. I also have not enjoyed the huge price hike in items that formally made sense at the pricing at but of course post covid everybody took advantage and I know the cost of food has gone up for restauranteurs as well, but when we used to be able to exchange a green salad for a Caesar salad which accompanied the chicken sandwich or the hamburger and suddenly we have to pay two extra dollars on top of the price hike just to ask for Romaine lettuce instead makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Just another irritating Factor making us less interested in going to Porters anymore. Diminishing our choices in this area is quite frustrating because we don't have a lot here in Bellport area. Oh well. It's silly to even worry about such a thing given the fact that most people can't even afford to eat out in restaurants.😔

One of the best restaurants I've been to. Service is excellent and the staff is so nice. I recommend the lobster roll or filet mignon. Delicious.

Crab cake BLT was outstanding. Very friendly service. Nice wines by the glass.

Porters on the Lane is a great local establishment with cozy dining and drinking spaces, a lively crowd, busy and attentive service, excellent meats and seafood, and great drinks. I'm not a Bellporter, but I'd be a regular if that was so.

Awesome. Food is always great, and the nightlife is great. Also make sure to try the lobster roll when they put it on the menu, best I've ever had.

Loved it!. I think the prices are a bit above average but so is everything on Long Island. There is no $1 menu. BUT happy hour is half off apps. Although the bar can get crowded and you need to pass through there to get to the fireplace room it sooo worth it! There is nothing more enjoyable then eatting dinner in front of the fire with someone you care about. I had the short ribs which were awesome but what was so great about them was the fried onions on top! I Also thought the fried pumpkin ice cream was out of this world! the serving was huge and sadly I couldn't finish it. Its not something you can wrap and take home for a treat later. My "dates" who happens to be my children had the flat iron steak with truffle mash, ate it all. While my more picky eater had a ceaser salad with shrimp and ate it ALL ( HUGE).. we didnt feel at all like the place was snobby at all , if anything I felt it was upper class with a hint of REAL. At the same time we were there there a man who I guess works for the the town and seemed a bit special had ordered a burger and EVERYONE was kind and attentive to him asking all about his day. I LOVED that about the staff! Everyone of them showed compassion! When you have a 7 year old with you it was so nice to see people treating others with repect. Our waitress was good as well as our bus boy. friendly and kind, but a bit rushed but it was busy. so understandable. I will without a doubt go back! And HAVE!

Love this restaurant! Tuna tartare tacos are amazing...love the scallops with risotto...Have been many times and been satisfied!

Overpriced! And Rude & Snobbish clientele! Went to have a nice dinner with my fiancé only to have people spill there drinks on me all night without apology, and get an overpriced bill.

Tuna Tartare Taco appetizer was delicious. Really enjoyed the the filet mignon. Only downfall, service was a bit slow.

Charming Restaurant. I really enjoy the ambiance of this restaurant. The food is good, but don't expect budget rates. Moderately high prices for a quality meal and setting.

Was here during Restaurant Week and had a good but not great meal. Thought the regular a la carte menu overpriced for what it was.

We ordered the Baked Clams appetizer for $9 which was made up of four tiny clams, but at least they tasted good! I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich that came with guacamole and a spicy mayo on it that gave it a nice touch. Mike ordered the Burger which he enjoyed as it was cooked very well. The fries that came with the sandwiches were also very good. House-cut, and served hot and crispy.
