Love everything we ordered here. Such a cute corner with a lot of seating inside and there is big parking space in the back of the restaurant which makes the restaurant my new favorite spot in the area. Very easy to access for pick up and togo if anytime I want a quick meal, also gives a cozy and welcoming vibe if you want a little date in the weekend. The foods were 10/10, the portion was good amount. Service was 10/10, especially with new management we will definitely comeback more often to support small businesses in town.

The service is excellent and they made everything possible to accommodate our requests. The level of spice can be adjusted if you need it, but even so the flavors are exceptional. I had the Pineapple Duck Curry, impeccable, and my wife had the delicious Hug Thai Delight (picture), both paired with the traditional Thai Iced Tea.
An excellent experience that I hope to enjoy again very soon. Possibly the best Thai restaurant Iβve been on Long Island.
We had a fabulous meal. The service was very courteous, and the room is very pleasant to dine in. The food is delicious! One gets the feeling that the food is made with attention to detail, love , and the finest and freshest ingredients. I did not arrive a big fan of Thai food, but certainly left Hug Thai as a big fan of the cuisine! Bravo! An excellent place to relax and enjoy delicious food!
Easily my new favorite Thai restaurant perhaps in all of Long Island. Every single dish we ordered had incredible flavor and the price point is extremely reasonable for today's prices. The staff too were so friendly and accommodating, even going as far as preparing certain peanut-based dishes without peanuts for me without asking as I have a peanut allergy just so I could try something new! 15/10 will definitely be back again!
I love the food . Iβve ordered from here several times. It is always great. They used to have a chef recommendation udon noodles w jumbo shrimp, which was amazing . My go to is pineapple fried rice w duck so yummy highly recommend

A new hidden gem in Bellmore!! So bayou to have an excellent Thai restaurant close by. Small quaint but classy with wonderfully flavored food.

I love the Thai food here. It is small quaint place. I had a chicken curry dish. It was great. The servers are very nice. I love the fact that it is BYOB.
Omg so awesome basil chicken special was great and they made it to my spice level which isn't to high. Dessert was awesome another special can't remember the name but it was coconut, tapioca walnuts and ice in a milky bowl so yummy please try it.... Finally the service was amazing thank you thank you πππππ
AMAZING π so much flavor in each dish made with quality ingredients. Menu is easy to understand and navigate. Prices are perfect, you get so much food! Staff is so friendly and nice always smiling! Highly recommend the duck! The side of noodles and side of sauce are a low key amazing side combo π

Hug Thai is amazing!! We love Thai food. We tried lots of Thai places. Hug Thai's food is consistently the best Thai food we ever tried. We order multiple times a week from here. The owner of HUG THAI always goes above & beyond to all of his customers. The owner will also make himself available for any of his customers. He personally stays on top of each order placed.
Whether you are new or a regular. You will love this place. They also offer delivery, in which all of our deliveries come well packaged & heated. If you never tried Hug Thai yet. Try it!! You will not be disappointed.
I love this place! My favorite dishes are tufu pad pak, Thai sausage fried rice, mango salad and Hug Thai delight. The other dishes are good too. It's small and intimate and it was great to visit before the pandemic but now I enjoy the take-out.
This is our first time at Hug :) We have been searching for Thai cuisine close by that we would truly enjoy! Hug is just what we all love.
Our Chicken Satay was perfect, my husband and child ordered Pad basil with chicken and I ordered Pad Thai with chicken. We all tried each others, the chicken done to perfection!

Another gem! This is by far the best Thai restaurant on the island period. Cute, cozy and authentic makes this the perfect place for a romantic dinner. The cuisine is simply amazing. However, bring your own bottle if you like a drink with your dinner as they don't have a liquor license. Personally, I like bringing my own bottle of wine. It makes the experience easier on the wallet. If you haven't been there yet, you're missing out on a really great spot.
This is a small place where you sometimes have to wait to be served your order a little longer than you would prefer, where a little more atmosphere would perhaps make the visit more enjoyable, and where more convenient parking would making visiting a lot more convenient. These are the common critiques in the reviews about this place and I completely agree.
But oh, as in those same reviews, when that food arrives and you take the first bite, all is forgotten!
I love thai food and have visited many thai restaurants locally, nationally and internationally. Of these numerous restaurants, this one has my favorite food by far. If not for the drawbacks previously mentioned, I would rate this place a solid five stars!
If you enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal, bring your own bottle and bon apetit!
