On Rice Thai Cuisine

The food was absolutely delicious was having a great time until the bill came the total was 64.13 tax included, checked my bank statement and it said 76.13 I was concerned so I asked the lady at the register what happened why did it charge extra. I honestly thought she charged extra and she said she didn’t know all she said was that it was maybe my bank, She was right I felt really bad because she’s so kind and I thought she took out money but it turned out it was my bank. She was so nice GREAT SERVICE 10/10. Left a big tip

Been wanting to try this place for a couple of weeks. Very disappointed. I ordered Thai BBQ Chicken with sticky rice what I got was something else. Cold and not worth the money or the drive! Called the restaurant staff was less then helpful.After mistakenly telling me the "Thai BBQ with Sticky Rice" did not come with "rice." She amended later and offered give me a "scoop" of rice if I wanted to come back. Not an experience you want after getting off work and driving across town. Never again.

I love On Rice I really do, I think the quality of their food is good. I always enjoy my interactions with their employees and the food is generally quite tasty. But they have a price and a spice level problem. I normally order 4 stars at Thai restaurants, when I try a new place I go down to 3 stars just in case. At On Rice I can barely eat a 2 star and they don't offer a 1 star via Uber Eats. Twice now I've ordered 2 star phad see ew that is essentially inedible with the amount of red pepper included. I've had to individually scrape off every bite just to enjoy my meal. They also upcharge for several small things, like adding basil is a $2 add-on....c'mon.

Still love this restaurant, updating to 5 stars post-covid considering how awesome the portion sizing was. Still bummed how difficult it is to get a spicy meal from them! Great tasting food, reasonable prices. Terrific atmosphere, typical Bellingham service. I recommend take out. And if you want it spicy, make it 8*s or higher.
