Awesome breakfast this morning! Eleni is THE BEST server! Her positive, friendly attutude was enjoyed by my family who came in from Southern Ca and Oregon.
She handled our party of 7 like a pro.
Good luck on their project tonight and thanks for an awesome breakfast.
Ps. Great food at a great price!!!
Yesterday was my first time ever there. The food was great, the atmosphere was friendly. Easily one of the best breakfast spots in town. Will definitely be going back with friends and family!
I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. Also tried the chicken fried steak, which was really good. Although everything was good I would just say they need to work on their gravy a little (little bit flavourless).
When i was a kid my grandparents used to take me here all the time, as Arlis's was kid friendly and had "good coffee" according to my grandpa. Now, sime twenty years later, Arliss's has become a staple tieing an older generation to a younger one. For my fiancee and myself it has become our favorite lazy morning breakfast spot.
Breakfast burritos is huge... Bring an appetite or a friend! Yummy!!
The first time I came here, I had a sandwich and was not impressed at all. I mean, processed cheese? gross. but I gave it another chance and I'm glad I did. the breakfast is great and reasonably priced and you don't have to deal with out-the-door lines and the attitudes of hipster waitstaff like most late breakfast places in town.
Staff was very, very friendly, Food was appropriately priced, atmosphere was a little bland - it doesn't seem like a typical bellingham place. We will definitely go back.
What Happened?. Arlis's has been a favorite breakfast place for local Bellinghamsters uninterested in the hip or "hippy" style establishments with their whole grain granola and organic everything menus that charge more for the privilege of eating there.
Arlis's has always served delicious breakfasts with all your favorites on their menu. Friendly, neighborly servers served up plenty of coffee and a smile. The question of the day answered correctly even gets you a free cup of coffee.
Sadly, a sudden turn of events has convinced us that Arlis's best days may well be behind it. The buckwheat pancakes we ordered were dry and every drop of the sadly cold syrup absorbed by the cakes couldn't change that fact.
My corned beef hash tasted like it had come out of a can. The toast was cold and the potatoes tasteless and under cooked.
We had to ask for more coffee each time and after asking a second time for water, we only received one glass. Every time a waitperson approached our table, it was someone different and most of them seemed unfamiliar with the responsibilities of a waiter.
How sad to see this little jewel go down hill so quickly.
Have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. It's the best place to go when your hungry for some good breakfast.
For sure gunna be going back. Service wasn't necessary the best but they were pretty busy. The food was great! Deff more stuffs I wanna try.
Always go here for one thing, the crab cake eggs Benedict- it’s always crispy despite the generous amount of hollandaise sauce they provide 😩
Everyone is always super nice, and the coffee is really good.
The food is very good. I usually get the crab eggs Benedict which is always good. Today I tried the Greek Omelette-excellent!
Today was really great experience! The waitress was super friendly and I wasn't asked about my service dog. The gal that helped us forgot to add the pie on the bill so I just reminded her and she fixed it! The food was fantastic also!
Service was quick and friendly, food was delicious, and the ambiance was quiet and quaint.
Went for Brunch on a Sunday with a party of seven and was treated to a delicious salmon scramble and several pots of tea. We were seated quickly and served delicious food
Arlis's is a lovely, quaint, Bellingham staple serving all the classics and several with a northwest spin. Steeped in history, this diner is a fantastic place to fuel yourself and your family. Family friendly, this place is a must try.
We went during prime-time breakfast time on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was crowded, but service was very friendly and fast. The food was good and reasonably priced. It's in a cute little area of town; if you go down a few blocks there's pretty views of the sound.
Lenis Greek omlette below in pic is delicious!
There are so many other wonderful dishes as well. My favorite is the eggs Benedict. My clients is corn beef hash! The servers are just amazing and friendly and caring ladies. Homemade pies are to die for as well!
