Fairhaven Pizza Co

February 2021 -- The pizza was not good. We ordered the Italian Job: pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, black olives, onion, with spicy red sauce. It was a large pizza cut into 8 slices. >> The sauce: bland. If this was the spicy sauce. Not sure what the non-spicy tastes like. >>The pepperoni: limited. 1-2 pieces per slice, and these weren't the large half-dollar slices, these were the quarter sized slices. >>The sausage: even more limited than the pepperoni and it was nasty. The sausage pieces were itty bitty cubes, about half the size of a pencil eraser, and the taste was not good. The sausage had a previously cooked and frozen uncovered taste. Thankfully, there was very little on the pizza. >>The mushrooms: sparse. Like the pepperoni maybe 1-2 mushroom slices per piece. >>The black olives were fine and "reasonably" abundant. >> Service was good and the employees were friendly. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. The best pizza in Fairhaven. Worth a visit to a place that is a Fairhaven Institution. How many know Fairhaven Pizza's first location when they first opened many years ago. I have updated my review to one star. The restaurant sold and the new owner can not make a good pizza or Cesar salad to save his life. No crust lost its flavor. No more Chrome Dome pizza. No more good pesto. Fairhaven is lost with a good pizza place. The man that originally opened the restaurant would be angry to see what it has become.

Love the new Fairhaven Pizza vibe. Team is super friendly, and the pizza is delish. Try the green machine. Also, the silverware is something special. Excellent hand-feel. Owner Emile went out of his way to make sure I was having a great meal. Noticed he had a hole in his shirt, which shows he's working hard.
