Good variety of South Indian food. The staff are courteous and help you decide on the dish. All food was fresh and tasted good with proper spice level. Price wasn’t all that expensive too. Service was quick as well. Parking lot available outside but mostly crowded during evenings and weekends.
Happy to have Anjappar restaurant close to us. My favorite dish is Mutton kottu. It was pretty delicious. My kids also like Anjapper foods. They followed my instructions and cooked well. If you wanna try anyone over here please try it. One of my favorite restaurant. Thank you.
First time visiting the Bellevue location and they definitely didn’t disappoint. We had the kal dosa, pamphlet fish, chicken curry and filter coffee. Thought everything was super tasty, fish was a standout. It had a delightful mix of spices.
Best food in Seattle ever..We went twice in a week there after discovering it recently..1st time we ordered Mutton soup which was refreshing, Chicken lollipop was delicious, Amazing Mango Lassi(they use fresh mango to make lassi), Falooda was yummy, Grilled Pomfret was delicious too.
In 2nd visit again we ordered Mutton soup, Mango Lassi , Shrimp fried rice which was mind-blowing & Mutton Pepper gravy(mutton pieces were tender, taste was great but little spicy so if you are not a spice lover go for mild mutton gravy else keep your lassi with you :) )..
We will go there again soon.
The service was great by Mr. Sachin :)
Adding some more comments on some new dishes which we tried on 24th Jan 2022 .1st time tired deer sukha and the taste was delicious & we also tried chicken 65 which had a great taste too :) , they also gave complimentary papad …it’s definitely one of the great restaurant in Seattle.
Nice ambience and good food. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered veg fried rice, kothu parotta (kothu paratha) and chicken suka (they were out of many appetizers). Fried rice could have been better but the other two tasted good. Filter coffee was bland not strong like actual filter coffee. We will go again to try other things on the menu.
The food was great and the place was clean. Our server Paul was very approachable and friendly. Food was served piping hot. Coffee was great too.
Anjappar is a chettinad restaurant that offers food from a region called karaikudi from southern part of India. The food is bit on the spicer side and it has unique dishes like Kal dosai , kuzhi paniyaaram.
I tried Kal dosai and chilli paratha. I liked the dosai was soft but it was cooked bit raw for my taste. The tomato chutney and coconut chutney was good. But the sambar was not as good as i wanted it to be.
The chilli paratha was hard and crispy. I will definitely not try again.
They were out of veg. Biryani. Food wise i would still not recommend this place. But after trying the veggie Briyani and couple of dishes i will give my recommendation.
The ambience of this place is great. You have wonder wall painting depicting the life style of the southern India. They have this beautiful carved beams with a granite bottom carved like a lotus and the brass bells add nice ambience.
The service was quick and the waiting staff were very attentive.
Overall a nice place to spend your evening dinner.
