Tuscan Stone Pizza

Tried the BBQ chicken pizza. Ridiculously good. Cooked fast in the wood fire oven, I was in n out in 5 min, no lie. The pizza was flat out perfect in every single way - like love at first sight really grabs ahold of you: the instant my teeth clamped down on that first mouthwatering bite of tang spice crispy thin gorgeous, it was all over for those stale mushy pizzas in my past. I plan on being up there a lot from now on. Don't let the location fool you, this pizza beats the best a restaurant could ever produce. By a loooong way.

I discovered this place by accident, I was just looking for a pizza place, but wasn't familiar with the area at the time. I decided to give this a try and boy was this good. Not only is the pizza made on the spot, but it's made quickly! Every time I visit the Seattle area, I make sure to pass by. Don't be fooled by the trailer setup; if you need to use the restroom the gas station next door will do.

I got the large meat lovers and ceaser salad special. Took 10-15 min with maybe 5 people ahead of us. Yes, it really is wood fire, I saw the guy stoke it. Pizza was really good, though thin crust isnt really my thing, but its necessary for quick pizza. The ceasar salad is nothing, just a box of lettuce, couple shreds of cheese, half decent croutons and a cup of dressing. I didnt see if they had drinks, but the mini mart in the chevron next door does.

Just stopped in spur of the moment after getting petrol next door. Great idea!! Chatted with Guy (the pizza guy?!) and let him put together a custom "surprise me" pizza. He put together a delicious thin crust pie that was fresh and really, really good! Mind you, this was minutes ago. Next time, we will plan to buy pie from Guy instead of the other local chains (that begin with a Z and a P) here in Bellevue. I used to bake "pizza" for American Flatbread in an adobe-like woodfired oven back in Vermont. This place, and easy going Guy, remind me of all that. Thanks, Guy!
