Very busy cafe, the waffles and cold drinks were enjoyable. Can get crowded inside, I recommend the outdoor seating. We had a nice view of the nursery and didn't have to compete with the noise during the busy period. Just be careful not to sit in the cafe "blind spot". We did and when we requested a share plate and cutlery, we were forgotten lol not a deal-breaker though 🙂

I haven't visited Mia cafe for a couple of years and thought I would give it another chance as I was shopping at the nursery next door which is attached to the cafe. I now remember why I haven't gone back there since then. A cafe internally has changed and it is beautifully set out with normal wooden tables and chairs + black leather like armchairs with tables in the middle. There is also an outdoor area which is under a patio and is also very nice. Plus an additional outside (open area )where the toilets are have.I am lactose intolerant so I always ask for lactose-free milk and if there is a cafe that doesn't have lactose-free milk I will not order there and I will go somewhere else. To my satisfaction Mia cafe do lactose-free milk so that was a tick for me. However the coffee was mainly milky as they only do two shots of coffee rather than 3 or 4. I normally have 3 shots of coffee as that is enough for me but unfortunately they said they're standard Macchiato comes with two shots only. Generally if I go out for breakfast, wherever I go I generally order soft/ runny poached eggs with bacon on toast. To my dissatisfaction the poached eggs on toast came out with two wholemeal slices of toast which were very hard but at the same time soggy when you ate them as though they had been Frozen and were stail. The poached eggs we're not to my satisfaction either as they were hard pretty much like boiled eggs with the hard yolk inside, not a soft runny yolk like poached eggs should be done. The bacon was very nice. If you're in the area its worth dropping in to Mia Cafe to try out for yourself because I didn't have a totally bad experience as it is a good setting, convenient location with parking at the rear and the nursery next door. You might like it yourself but what I went to eat and drink unfortunately I wasn't happy with. so most time I spent there was reading the newspaper

Friendly staff, yummy food and reasonably priced! I like how the cafe is connected to the garden shop, we always go for a wonder after eating in the cafe. Only thing is they close at 2pm everyday but that might have been due to Covid. They also have some really delicious gluten free desserts worth the try 👌

We have been going to this place for years! Excellent food, breakfast and home made Pasta! The gift area is amazing filled with unusual things and the plant nursery area is beautiful. A lovely place for brunch.

Absolutely delicious hotpot! The broth has a rich bone flavour, you can tell it has been simmering for a while and has minimal or no powdered flavourings. All the ingredients are high quality and healthy. I'll be back!

Lovely coffee, fresh food and good size servings. Haven't been for a long time and it is under new management- the only downside was getting 2 meals early and the other 2 quite a bit later! Otherwise definitely worth going

Disappointing I wanted a coffee and croissant but they didn't have croissants. That's fair, you can't expect everyone to stock what you want. The only real alternative was toasted sourdough with strawberry jam or Vegemite. A pretty disappointing range but I thought I'd try a coffee and toast with Vegemite. I got my coffee - nice and hot and good flavour. I waited for my toast and waited. And waited. I was running out of coffee and it was getting cold. I asked about the toast - they clearly hadn't even started on it. I waited some more and eventually finished my coffee. I asked again and they still hadn't started on it. Only after the third time of asking did they start. It eventually came. No apology until I mentioned that it really wasn't good enough. Nice toast, just enough butter but the Vegemite was a half-depth of container serve and didn't really cover two pieces of toast. I ordered and paid for another coffee and finally got to try both at the same time. Too many cafés have this disconnect between drinks and food orders but I've not encountered such a disconnect at this before.
