Review Crystal Room - Bedford

We stayed at the resort for my husbands birthday and dinner was overpriced and horrible. My steak was over cooked twice. The vegetables on my husbands plate were hard and not cooked enough. The shrimp appetizer was $24 for 4 and the sauce was not good. There was no lobster in the lobster bisque. It was just all the way around not a good experience. The only plus was that the waiter was nice and very apologetic. Oh and the bread was good. Would not recommend wasting $200-300 on this place.

This was our second time visiting The Crystal Room during our stay at the Omni. Last year — food/ drinks were excellent, our server was great & wonderful ambiance! We made restaurant reservations months in advance, with hotel reservations (knowing renovations were happening — we were excited to visit again…) This year — very disappointing overall. First off, we were sat at 8:20 — sat there until 9:10 without drinks but had bread. By 9:30, we had one appetizer. Bright lighting across the dining room. Food menu completely changed from the previous year — & in our opinions, it was not executed very well. Pork belly was burnt & caviar was very fishy. Drinks were average but pricy. After this, we decided to pay our tab & head over to The Omni’s other restaurant, The Frontier Tavern.

Excellent dining experience. Ashley and Matt were exceptional servers. The chocolate sphere dessert was delicious and creative. Highly recommend!

A true fine dining experience located within the beautiful Bedford springs resort, this restaurant offers an elegant and upscale display of historical photos and decor and delicious food and wine selections.

We stayed at the resort for a weekend and very much enjoyed it but the Valentine’s Day dinner at the restaurant was highly disappointing. We took the pre-fix menu and after the cold and tasteless “hot” appetizers switched to a-la-carte menu. Except for the salad (which was excellent), the dishes were bland. The $5 salmon at IKEA is better than the piece we got for $35 at the Crystal Room. The wait for every course was very long and despite a waiter apologizing for the delay in the kitchen, the food on every plate came out barely warm. Drinks were good. Service was very pleasant. We will not return for the food however we loved the resort.

I have dined here a few times. I would almost bet that each time l might have had a different chef. Menu and food quality seemed to vary each time. It is above average, it should be for fine dining and the menu prices. My quail were delicious. Very rich food. Atmosphere is definitely great and you probably should dress up a little to dine there.

Awesome food and great atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner here is an experience worth having. The Breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. It offers every sort of breakfast food, pastry and cereal imaginable. The dinners are excellent and upscale. Really enjoyed this restaurant. My pictures don't do it justice.

I was really looking forward to a meal here, but it just didn't meet my expectations for the price. The ambiance is very nice and the food was decent, but for the price they charge I just thought it would be a more impressive experience. I started off with the potato leek soup, which I highly recommend. It's not only reasonably priced, but the portion was good and the soup was delicious! For our entrees we got salmon and their specialty chicken dish that had some sort of a mustard aspect to it. The salmon was good, but nothing crazy. They did a very good job crusting the salmon however the dish was very simple. Seeing how it was $30, there just wasn't anything that really stood out to me. I tried my wife's chicken dish, and it was just pretty bland. The presentation also left a lot to be desired as it was sort of just a bowl with a bunch of mush in it. After digging around awhile, she determined there weren't any gnocchi in it so she asked the server. She said oh they must have forgot to put it in, and proceeded to bring back what appeared to be fried gnocchi? They kind of tasted like a potato ball vs a gnocchi. We got the chai tea creme brulee for dessert, and while that was pretty good it was just very overwhelming with the chai tea taste. I love a good chai tea, and I by the middle I just couldn't take another bite of it. All in all it was a decent meal, but not something I would have expected to pay the 90 bucks we did for.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend the chef's table dinner and the steak house! Chef Sam is amazing as well, a true asset to this resort. Spa Vitamin C facial was to die for as well as the beautiful pools and relaxation room! Nature hike was gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

This was our first time but definitely not our last. Beautiful place with the best staff we have ever encountered. The Spa, pool and golf were also great. Cannot say enough about our wonderful experience here.

Absolute horrible experience. Apparently they have a curfew because everyone is in bed by 9 pm and its so boring. They constantly tell you to keep it down when you are in the "game room". As soon as we walked out, they RAN and locked the game room behind us. It was like they were just waiting for us to leave. They even threatened to kick us out of the hotel at one point like we were such a problem. We tried playing the piano and they RAN out and told us that its a 40k piano and its for people who know how to play . So disrespectful. employees have such dry personalities and make you feel unwelcome. It's a shame because we spent a ton of money to come here along with another couple. If you are looking to have fun this is not the place for you!!!!! And we travel alot.

We had a wonderful Anniversary getaway. The services, people and the resort were all spectacular. Loved the food, even though I'm gluten free they were very accommodating. Found everyone to be friendly and very helpful.

Polite staff from valet to concierge to room service. Spacious, comfortable rooms and wonderful scenery. I get nick picky sometimes so my little gripes are not worth mentioning but they are the reason I didn’t give 5 stars. The food was a bit pricey but you could taste where your money went. I was planning my next trip there before I left so I will definitely be back.

This is my happy place � This marks my third time here and everything is consistently outstanding. First, the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The entire facility is well appointed and maintained, and lastly this is my favorite spa only second to Miraval in Arizona. It’s a great place to relax and recharge. To the entire team, thank you for making every stay so enjoyable!

Beautiful place,If you’re looking to get away ,refresh,& regroup this is the place no airports just a lovely drive through the Pennsylvania mountains.

My happy place. A beautiful resort. The staff at every level is so helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed many Spa services and they were perfection. The restaurants and food are fabulous. Restaurant staff is friendly and accommodating.

This was the second time my wife and I stayed at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort and we will visit again in the future. We absolutely love it there. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and relaxing. I play golf and my wife enjoys the spa. The outdoor pool is wonderful with waitstaff taking your drink and food orders. There is also an indoor pool that we used when the weather was rainy. All you need to do is sit back and relax!

Had lunch at the tavern. Sat outside. Was a wonderful day. The food was fabulous. Would recommend the grilled cheese. Service was exceptional.

Absolutely loved our stay ! Every single employee we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean. We took part in the Chef’s Table and enjoyed every bite and sip of wine. Our last day was spent in the spa and it was so worth it and relaxing. We would absolutely come back ! What a great place for us to celebrate our engagement that happened during our stay!!

Please go visit this beautiful venue and everything they have to offer. We attend many events here and have never been disappointed. Top notch staff and service, you will feel like royalty. This is my happy place! �

A very nice weekend getaway. We enjoyed the SPA, the little hike and food service overall. Only disappointing point is we asked if we could have a few extra pieces at the afternoon tea and were told no. They were offering it last time. But overall it was a nice weekend at the resort.

This was my third time at the Omni and once again it did not disappoint. We had such a fabulous girls’ weekend! From the accommodations, to the food and the spa, we were very very pleased! We will definitely visit time and time again.

From the moment of arrival to our departure, all the staff were customer service oriented in an uncontrived & genuine way. The ATM was down so instead of tipping with cash, my friend & I presented a cookie from Che Sara Sara to show our gratitude to the valet upon leaving. The spa is amazing, huge, spacious & very accommodating. I will return. We had no reason to leave the building the 3 days we were there bc of all the restaurants, shops & stuff to explore. Loved it.
