Papa Johns Pizza

Usually pretty happy with everything we get from Papa Johns. Tonight, we decided to try the New York style pizza and the spicy pepperoni rolls. My husband loved the rolls, but we both felt that the pizza was not much different than a regular pizza. It didn’t look anything like it did in the pictures, so kind of disappointing. Plus, the garlic sauce that was inside was opened, so it wasn’t even usable.

Other people are right....not the place is used to be. Items missing from my order almost every time any more. When picking up, I literally have to open every box before leaving to see what's been left out. They get things right maybe 1 time out of 5 at best. Not sure if they have a different owner or manager but definitely not what they used to be.

I Order from papa John got frequently and usually rarely have any issues.. But tonight I did a online order like usual and choose to pay with cash because that’s all I had at the time , and well my bill was almost $50 bucks and all I had was $ 100 on me. So I called to let them know before they delivered so they would know in advance . But they refused and said they couldn’t except a $100.. I don’t see this issue when my bill was quit a bit n beginning. I have order from other pizza places and restaurants and as long as I told them in advance that’s what I had then there was no issue.. They could have brought along one of the markers to make sure it was real and not a fake bill.. I just feel Like that could had worked with me but they said they could take my card and that’s it but I did t have money on my card at this time..specially since I was curious to call them to let them know in advance so they could be prepared before they came but instead I had to cancel my order.. So thanks for nothing papa johns.. I am so not happy right now.. very disappointed..

2 out of 2 times I have placed my order online ahead of time for a specified delivery time. The first time was 6 hrs in advance and my order was 2 hrs late. The manager did offer to give me a discount on my NEXT order but I said I'd rather have my discount now. A 40% discount for an order they knew about 6 hrs in advance and were still 2 hrs late. It should have been free. Tonight I placed my order an hour and a half in advance on a Tuesday to be delivered at 8pm. It's 10 after and my delivery still hasn't let the store. It's ridiculous. I have a family member that works nights and he barely has time to eat before rushing out the door because they are so terrible with their deliveries being on time. If I had kids who needed to be in bed by a certain time they'd be without dinner! If the delivery sucks they need to lower their prices! I won't be ordering from this store again! I' don't understand how hard it is for them to deliver on time when I'm placing my order hours in advance.

The only reason I'm giving three Stars is that my order was delivered by a great friendly driver that happened to be a neighbor and the contents were right. The pizza itself was luke warm, sparse on toppings this was literally the worst take out Pizza I have ordered in years. I would have had a better pizza taking a Great Value frozen WalMart Pizza and baking it at home for a third the price and not been feeling queasy. The Bedford Papa John's manager refunded my order total so I am happy they made it right.
