Review Limestone Cafe - Bedford

This is a very cute little local place that specializes in awesome breakfast dishes. I got the corned beef hash and my wife got the corned beef sandwich. Very good! They make their corned beef from scratch and you could tell. Some of the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh and tasted great. You may have to wait a little while for your food because every table was occupied when we got there. It's worth the wait. I would strongly recommend the corned beef hash.

Breakfast tacos were e great & the buffalo chicken sandwich my hubby had was sooo good! Cheese curds we’re amazing!

I stop in in Bedford to eat here whenever I come to Indiana. This is the real deal family run restaurant and their food is so good you wish you ordered two so you could take one with you. The atmosphere is just as good and the restoration of the building is very creative, shiny good work.

Such a cute and clean, small town place. Service was friendly and the food was outstanding! We went for breakfast, but can't wait to try lunch, too! ❤

Honestly I hate leaving poor reviews, especially for small town local cafes. But it needs to be said, do not waste your time and $$ here. We sat and waited for 15 minutes to be greeted and watched 3 serves walk around/ past us. Please understand the place was dead/ not busy. After receiving our drinks and ordering we waited another 55 minutes for a chicken bowl, Swiss patty melt & burger. The burgers were dry and plain/ unseasoned. Gave me a pretty bad stomach ache and I don’t get them often. The menu is very small so we expected quality food, especially with the prices. Overall the decor is cute/ cheap craftsmanship, pretty drafty/ cold so dress warm. Good luck with the business, I truly do hope the best for them.

Place was closed, despite posted Hours and live online status saying "Open" (Sunday 5/22/22 1:00 pm). Had a friend coming from out of town, and planned to meet for lunch at Limestone Cafe. Specifically chose for high ratings & reviews. Said "Open" online in real-time, and per posted Hours. But, upon arrival, was closed. Sign in window said they were closed for a catering event. It's fine to do catering, but should reflect that in posted Hours, and online status should not show "Open". Disappointing and embarrassing. Had to scramble to change plans with friend. Found Courtroom Sports Grill nearby, which turned out to be excellent (as reflected in my 5-Star review of them).

Delicious food Great atmosphere. My daughter had her birthday celebration on Sat April 16th of 2022. I can't say enough go experience it for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

I'd like to give this place a zero just to keep y'all away and to be sure I can always get a seat :) place was packed last night, people waiting to get in. A great vibrant atmosphere. Felt like I was in boutique restaurant in a Chicago neighborhood. Way too much great food, wine and music. We were made to feel relaxed and welcome. A wonderful change of pace. Kudos to the owner.

We love the Limestone Café. They treat so well. Each year they serve a huge birthday crowd of celebrators. They time things impeccably and the food is delicious. They make us feel like their place is our place that evening.

This is such a wonderful eatery. The food was delicious, and the staff was impeccable! We had a wonderful experience and will most definitely be returning. I would recommend that you try it and see for yourself.

Kathy and her team at the Limestone Cafe catered a wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son on July 27 at the Otis Bath House in Bedford and the food preparation, display/presentation exceeded my expectations. I also do catering but was told by family that I couldn't cater my own son's party. It was hard to delegate but this group of 40 in the party were all so enjoying the food. Everything was delicious. Thank you Limestone Cafe - highly recommend their catering!

This is a great place. Finally we have a place in Bedford that gives us a little bit of Bloomington. We need places like this in Bedford. I hope everyone around gives this place a try. My wife and I love Limestone Cafe. The food , music and the atmosphere is just great. ....

We had dinner here on New Years Eve to celebrate our 40th anniversary, along with our family. It was a lovely experience all around. Owners were so kind, and were very accommodating to our family group, which included three very young children. Excellent food! If we're back in the area, we'll stop by again for a meal!

Dining in Bedford does not get any better! I have had some amazing meals here and you do not want to skip dessert. The staff goes the extra mile every time, with wonderful wine suggestions and outstanding service. After more than a dozen visits here, I'm still impressed every time. Go!!!

The best food in Bedford, the hours on google are wrong. I always call ahead to see if they have room. Place fills up fast.

Some good times were had last night at the Limestone Cafe as we celebrated Maw Carolyn King and Andy King birthday. Sean Steele was playing live music and there were so many folks there that we all knew. Many were up visiting with new and old friends. We all really had a wonderful time, the service was very good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend you try this little restaurant next to Old Downtown. I had the pleasure of talking to many last night and can honestly say that was one of my better evenings out in quite a while. Maw had the privilege of visiting with Brent and Sally Steele as did Missy and I hooked Maw up with longtime neighbor Diane Mathews Summerton that she had not seen in years. I got to visit with Joe Elliott, Barbie Lake, Lisa Couch and her sisters and family. Just a fantastic evening overall. Give this little GEM a try and I believe you will be pleased.

I wish Limestone Cafe was open every Weekend Day and Night! I love the atmosphere, the ambiance, the food brought to Bedford, IN, so we don't have to drive to Bloomington! And the best parts are the Owners and Staff who are so personable and make each guest comfortable! My favorite times are when they have local talent performing such as jazz pianist and show tune singers and coffee house guitar performers and in such an intimate venue. When it's open to the public, and not rented out for a private catered events (which I've attended as well and again high compliments) I recommend Limestone Cafe 100%!

Absolutely wonderful place in every way. The food, the atmosphere, the service, everything. Loved it.
