We had an awesome experience at The Barn from start to finish. Arrived around 5:30 for some pre-dinner cocktails (Fernando and It’s Warm Somewhere)… both delicious and made with serious care by the bartender. Followed by a bottle of Aligote which was perfect.
For appetizers, we had to try a few things…
- The Blooming Onion was great… perfectly fried and sweet… combined with spinach and artichoke deliciousness on top
- Bone Marrow Luge… every bite was awesome… Asian flair with tartar on top of the marrow, and ends with a shot meant to get every bit of deliciousness off the marrow. Fun experience and something you don’t see on menus much
- PEI Mussels… normally we’d never order mussels since we cook them often ourselves but this was like a bahn mi in a bowl... still thinking about how delicious this was
By the time we got to dinner, we were pretty full so split the fried chicken. Cooked well and juicy, but the sauce could have had a bit more flavor… I’d try something else next time.
Dessert we wanted to end on a high note so split the Yuzu Pavlova and didn’t regret it. Awesome mix of flavors and not too heavy.
Professional and attentive service with proper pouring of drinks, changing of flatwear throughout with everything matching what we were eating. Some things that I feel are a bit hard to find outside of the city and didn’t go unoticed.
The setting was beautiful on the patio, especially on a warm summer night. A fair mix of couples, groups, and families with very well behaved children.
While not a cheap meal by suburban standards, we felt that everything was well priced and worth the cost. Based on our meal last night, would highly recommend…Can’t wait to go back again soon and try different dishes!

The Barn is a cozy dining experience that has the same amazing food and service as their main dining space. They have changed a few things since our last visit...one being the kitchen head order executor ....so that's a bit loud and crazy hearing her yell order's to the kitchen all night....not sure that was a great change to the process. Everything else was outstanding as always

This Michelin starred restaurant is worth all the hype. Ideal for a special occasion dinner or a leisurely eating experience. Service was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and romantic. The cocktails were soooo delicious. Food was amazing. The Bone Marrow Luge… I could have eaten 10 of those! And the Steak Frites was cooked to perfection. Would skip the Mushroom Pasta next time. But that average dish was easily forgotten when I bit into the Peach and Plum Pavlova. LOVED IT!!

A beautiful setting for a nice lunch. Salad was delicious with a vegan ranch dressing. The service was attentive and very pleasant. Katherine is one of the nicest waitperson ever.

Have been back a few times since getting married at the inn. It's a beautiful place. Somewhat disappointed in the food though. Good but quite underwhelming for the price and expectations.

Great food. Great service. The menu is really unique and interesting. Great wine list. Service is little slower, but way better and more professional than any other places I’ve been during and post pandemic. All restaurants should be given a little pass on speed of service. It’s almost impossible to find staff. I just pretended I was in Europe and enjoyed the incredible food and the beautiful location. Also saw a few celeb sightings which is always fun. Even for a New Yorker.

First, 5 stars is a rudimentary scale to measure the experience of this establishment.
With that said, as an internal customer, the atmosphere is 'astronomical' as time seems to drift when one experiences the different elements before them through each course of course. 😉
Thank you for your service 🙏 (high five and / or prayer hands) and a special thanks to Chef Roxanne Spruance! Magnifique! The ambience was music to my ears, harmonious with sweet and savory flavors!

Not all Michelin plate restaurants are worth it. This one is. The food is delicious, great wine pairings (first time out away from the twins), with nice and accommodating staff. I think we’ll make it a long weekend next time.

had brunch here, both the food and the service were spot on! ive since gone back and the food is still great, however the last time i had difficulty bringing the menu up on my phone due to bad cell service. the waitress had no solution for this, in other words they have no printed menus at all, this nearly became a show stopper however someone in our party was finally able to load the menu. i strongly suggedt to this restaurant to either install wifi or print some menus when this happens

I can't say enough about this place. Great service and food in a beautiful setting. It checks all the boxes from drinks right through to dessert. Tasteful seasonal dishes with several vegetarian options for my friends. Do yourself a favor and try the octopus. That alone is worth the visit.
