The best Indian food in the town. Very polite gentleman and pretty good service. The food tastes close to the real authentic Indian food. Must try: Kulcha naan, chicken garlic and monty's special biryani.

This is a lovely little restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff! Ordered fried fish grill and lamb with almond sauce with special rice and it was sooooo delicious !!! 😍😍😍 will definitely going back again thank you!!!

I had a delicious meal in here. The only thing that let it down was there was no music to create some ambience.

Excellent local restaurant and takeaway. Try the Monty's Special dishes and the Extra special dishes. No alcohol served here but feel free to pop into the Budgens opposite for some drinks, they do corkage for free.
Personal favourite dishes are:
Chicken Dilkoosh
Chicken Tikka Biriani - this comes with a salad and full portion of veg curry
Peshwari nan - different from what you get in other Indian restaurants, more nutty than sweet.
Vegetable Bhaji - like a veg curry buy the sauce is drier.
Chicken Cocktail - a slightly sweet curry made with almonds.

I love a meal out at Montys! You can't go wrong. Good service, good food at great prices. No alcohol is served on the premises so take along your favourite tipple and glasses will be provided... happy days.
