Good food. Variety of vegetarian dishes. They offer a discount card to regular customers, but you have to ask for it. They don't accept American Express and there is no mouthwash in the restroom.
June 2019 update. One star down. Ordered glass noodle vegetable stir fry. Asked for spicy. Received chicken. Returned and received much smaller portion not spicy but sprinkled with black pepper. Contained tofu, which I specifically requested not to be in the dish.

This is the best Thai restaurant! The spices and ingredients are full of flavor and they know how to add heat to their dishes. The staff is friendly and helpful and it's in a great location. I fell in love with their curry dishes. This is one of my favorite restaurants and definitely recommend it to any one who loves Thai food.

Some of the best Thai food in the Portland area is found here. I haven't tried them all yet but Thai Cabin is my favorite thus far. Beef noodle soup is awesome and seems to be a cure for the common cold. Lemon grass chicken Pad Thai is a great twist on an old favorite. The appetizers are excellent. The red curry is excellent. I can't recall anything negative to report.
Do you like craft beer with your Thai food? Head down the block to Craft Pour House, check out the awesome selection of taps and Thai Cabin will deliver take-out to you.

Quick and friendly service. AND probably the best pad Thai I've ever had, with Thai tea

I have eaten at Thai Cabin several times and it's one of my favorite Thai places in the area. The prices aren't too high and the food quality is excellent. Service has always been swift and friendly, and I haven't noticed any issues with restaurant cleanliness.
The barbecue chicken is great, especially when you add some Thai peanut sauce, and their pineapple fried rice is delicious. I'll definitely continue eating at Thai Cabin when I'm craving great Thai food.

Decent service and open til 9 on Sundays! Ambience is... lacking a bit, but it does have "cabin" in the name and it's in a strip mall, so the expectation is pretty low in the first place.
On the bright side, the food was excellent! Drunken noodles are the usual first choice for me at a new thai place and I was not disappointed. Just the right amount of sauce, tender noodles, and the addition of broccoli and peppers was welcome.
On the other hand, the Thai Cabin Noodles were too sweet for me, and needed salt. A little bland, but the peanut sauce on top was pretty good

Fast service, but waitstaff give an impression of indifference. My order was for "spicy" pad Thai, but it was pretty mild. Presentation was mediocre. General flavor was so-so. Certainly edible, but nothing special. Likely won't be back unless I'm with another group.
