Went here for lunch! So good. Ordered a chicken pad Thai for 8 bucks- happy hour lunch special. Our server was new but he executed the service very well. I am a fan for sure. The space is intimate but with lots of light.

Awesome food! Excellent service! A good selection on the menu, but not overwhelming in choices! Reasonably priced and plenty of food in the servings. Will definitely come back.

Really great food and the place smells like home cooked meal when you walk in. The atmosphere is a typical outdoor mall restaurant but the food makes it worth going.

If you find yourself on the west side, this is the Thai place to try! Curry dishes are wonderful, pad Thai is fresh and perfectly cooked, drunken noodles (Pad Khee Mao) is spicy and full of favors and vegetables. Five stars!

Best Thai food. I signed up for this account JUST to write about this restaurant. I'm not an avid reviewer, nor am I usually so impressed with a service or product to spend the time to pursue writing a review. I just enjoy it and move on. In this case, I was really impressed. It was my birthday recently, so I looked online for a good Thai restaurant. Red Curry came up as one of the highest rated in the area, rating considerably higher than other restaurants I've tried and enjoyed. So I figured it MUST be good. Yep, it was! Best yellow curry I've ever had. I went back the next day and brought a friend! My parents and I talked to the owner for quite a while after our meal. Though quiet and nice, you will find she has vast experience and knows how to run a restaurant. She owns 4 restaurants in Thailand and has been here in the states for a couple years. She adapts her plates to the American palate (it's wise business), but she is an expert at preparing dishes in the traditions and recipes of Thailand. Ask her to prepare a traditional dish, and I bet you will make her day :) I will definitely be returning again and again. Since it was my birthday, I got a dish of her homemade coconut ice cream and a sweet song. Very nice. Great overall experience. Also important to note that both times I've been there, I've seen what appear to be Thai people eating there. There's that overused quote when going to ethnic restaurants, but it's probably true, "You know it must be good if people of nationality are eating here."

Visiting in Portland and went to this place which was near our hotel. Outstanding food! I've eaten in many Thai Places and this is one of the best. Everything was delicious. Spring rolls, chicken with lemongrass salad, pad Thai and sticky rice with mango - all outstanding. Restaurant was small and cozy and very nicely decorated. Prices very reasonable. Good service despite only one waitress working. If I lived in Portland, I'd be here regularly.

Mothra Says...Sweet & Velvet.. I dropped into this small and rather elegantly designed restaurant last week for lunch sans K. I just love Thai and am learning more and more about curries….. More Thai than Indian. I know that there is a difference, but am not educated on Indian cuisine enough to know the details. (If you wish to email me with some of your favorite Indian restaurants in the Portland area, I would appreciate it). Like I said, this is a small lovely restaurant on Scholls Ferry in Beaverton.
I was greeted warmly by the owner Nanta, a very nice woman who made me feel welcome right away. I asked her advice off of the to-go menu and she gave me several options. She also asked me how spicy hot I wanted this dish. I said; "medium should be fine." So, famous last words.
While I waited a short 8-10 minutes or so for my lunch to be prepared, Nanta poured me a glass of ice cold Oregon's finest. In the meantime, a party of four sat themselves and a party of one as well. This kept Nanta rather busy. In no time, I was out and back in the car with a rather hot red curry with white sticky rice in a to-go container….. Smelling very sweet and hypnotic. At the house, I poured the curry over the rice and immediately began to tear. Not in a bad way. The medium temperature surprised me but I quickly regained my composure. No, I am fine. I was just surprised. The flavors however did not surprise me. Wow! You understand don't you? A mouthful of sweet (coconut milk I imagine), then savory velvety flavors on my pallet. C'mon. I understand why the white chicken meat with saffron, leeks, lemongrass, red bell peppers, and onions and other assorted vegetables and spices (I never say "married") melded so well together in this dish. C'mon now. All this for $7.00 and a nice tip for Nanta. Mothra says….Doesn't get any better than this… Velvet in your mouth. Go, Go now. 3.95 of 5.0

The owner was very nice and forthcoming about the freshness of the ingredients. The atmospere and ambiance made our expierience even better.

Amazing Little Hole in the Wall. We thought we'd give this place a try since it is right across the street from us. We were skeptical, but they sure turned us right around! The food is fantastic. You can order your dishes in mild, medium, or hot. Unless you can handle EXTREME heat don't go higher than medium. I can take a lot of heat, but the medium has me grabbing for my water. We have tried several dishes (drunken noodles, red curry, Green Curry Puffs, Rock & Rolls, Spicy Basil, Cashew Nut, and Fried Rice). It is all very good.

The owner, Nanta, is very sweet and provides the best service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. She bends over backwards to make your visit wonderful.

Definitely go!

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend and everything was great! The restaurant was very clean and lovely, the woman who helped us was very sweet, and the food was delicious. You get a lot of food for what you pay for. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu :)

The food is amazing, you won’t regret getting their Pad Thai! Much better than other Thai food places around. To be honest the staff isn’t very friendly though, and the last time we went they still weren’t allowing seating. But it’s great for a quick delicious meal to take home!

This is an amazing Thai restaurant. The dinner is amazing. I got the green curry and they truly make wonderful food. I was surprised at how great the food was and the portions. This is a wonderful place to go if you want to experience Thai food. I will have to go back and try more menu items.

This is one of the most unique Thai restaurant I have ever been to. It is run by this amazing lady - true to her word - I know less English but my food is great. I would second that. She is very polite and the food tastes fantastic. There wasn't a big crowd when I was there but the service time isn't long. They have bathrooms - Mens and womens. Love the food - especially the pad Thai and the mango dish. The Papaya salad was amazing as well. This place is quiet and one can spend some time with a group or a significant other. Love to recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing food and staff. Best curry I've had in the Portland metro area to date. I ordered the specialty, Thai pumpkin red curry, with mixed seafood, mild spice. Sweet and spicy in a perfect 50/50 balance. Melt in your mouth pumpkin with large tender pieces of squid, whole shrimp, and scallops. Absolutely amazing. Paired it with a Thai iced tea and some Tom Yum soup. The soup was perfectly spicy and sour, large chunks of mushroom and chicken. My partner ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken. Delicious straight off the grill taste, amazing sauce and tender veggies. Overall my experience couldn't have been better. 5 stars is not enough to give this place! Must try if your in the Beaverton area.
