Very friendly staff and great food. Quickly became one of my favorite casual dining places.* *Edit Lowered score after visiting first time after mandate lifted. Portions are now smaller for same price. Staff seemed annoyed we were here trying to order despite place being empty. Did not arrive close to close or anything. Place is disgusting. Couldn't find a place to sit that wasn't covered in sticky mess. What happened to this place???

This is the second time I’ve ordered on doordash from this location. The first time they forgot to put any of the sauce I selected on my sushi and they forgot to include the extra sauce (which is very pricy at $5). It was inedible and falling apart. I threw it away. This time they didn’t forget the sauce, but they completely smothered it, it’s almost inedible, once again! They also forgot my side sauce AGAIN!

We’ve made this a regular lunch/dinner date spot. My wife has to be gluten free and everything on the menu is compliant. We get in and out the same every time. Consistent quality and service every time. She prefers the sushi rolls, I go for the custom bowls. Lobster, shrimp, chicken… all good. Never too busy when we’ve stopped in, but the seating can get a bit tricky on crowded days with the way the line forms. I noticed another reviewer comment on the tables. Yeah, they tend to be sticky. Not always from the food, but they need re-finished. The polyurethane has been worn off. It can be awkward eating with your arms stuck to the table. lol.

Really enjoyed my self-created sushi roll. I was able to make half with crab and half with tuna. I asked the staff for suggestions on which ingredients might be tasty, and they were happy to give several different options. The chili ponzu sauce is heaven! The only thing that would make the roll better for me, is if it had been a little colder. The rice was kind of luke warm which made the eating experience only a 9/10 for me. Taste was definitely amazing though!!

When the food is cooked properly here, it is a good fast option for fresh food, but recently it's been really hit or miss. If you serve sushi, the rice needs to be cooked correctly and not mushy. Hopefully they can fix these issues in the future. Edit: Came back to switch this review from a three to a one because one of our party got food poisoning there.

Awesome restaurant! Basically the sushi and poké bowl version of Subway. Build your own sushi with choices of rices, wraps, and ingredients that make eating vegan or gluten free easily accessible. Very affordable with delicious fountain drinks!

I’ve been a long time Fusian customer, back when they first opened on Brown Street many years ago. It has felt like the quality has declined a lot recently, as if it’s not as fresh anymore. I like the veggie/tofu bowls as an alternative to less healthy choices, but they just haven’t been good the last few times I’ve gone. Hopefully they can make a turnaround.
