Literally everything was amazing! The oysters, alligator, crab cakes, corn, and everything included in Uncle Ashbys. The crab bisque was the best part though. The pecan praline cheesecake was so delicious. Not too sweet even with all the caramel.
Highly recommend eating here whenever possible!

Was looking for a seafood place for a boil, and came across Floyd’s, after reading reviews thought i would give it a try.
Atmosphere was great, customer service was wonderful, food was good.

Wow, just wow! I’m surprised this place does not have a 4.8-5 ⭐️ overall rating. Too bad we didn’t come here hungry because I wanted to try other dishes as well. The grilled oysters with crab meat and the crab bisque were hands down the best! Vanessa was awesome, she gave us both recommendations and they were spot on. If you’re reading this, you aught to try this place!

Was skeptical, but the seafood pasta was pretty good. Will try again. It's creamy but not thick, and I thought it had a really tasty, savory flavor. I had to add some of their cajun season shake that was on the table since it wasn't spicy enough. Fixed it right up. Btw, their table custom Cajun seasoning shake was spicy and not full of salt. I like that and dumped it heavily in the pasta dish. I got full on their delicious fresh garlic butter bread, so I took half of the seafood pasta dish home. Pretty dang good the next day with some extra pasta and parmesan cheese added.

Enjoyed a nice visit to a local favorite seems that Floyd’s keeps a crowd! The portions are large and come out relatively quickly. Casual attire works great here !

Oldest Floyd's Restaurant in Texas. I grew up in Beaumont, Texas I would know. Best food, nutritional food, moderate prices. Tip Wait Staff & Bar Tenders they do a great job to serve you & your family. Everything on menu is great.

Went here as had a taste for some fried fish and seafood options. We ordered the catfish bites, Bayou platter, and a catfish platter. Also had the crawfish etouffee. Ordered to go and our food was out in 15 minutes. This ensured that by time we got to the house the food was still hot. The bread was very good and tasty. The Bayou platter came with crawfish, oysters and a catfish fillet. The items weren’t seasoned like I normally like but hit the mark for my fix. I would give this a try again if in the area.

I don’t know here. Was it the two drunk black guys at the end of the bar. Or was it the truck driver that was barking out what he wanted and how fast he wanted it. Or was it the five minute wait to ask if I wanted something to drink or was it the other five minutes it took to get my drink. Maybe it was that 15 min. To get someone’s attention to order food. To only ask for the bill to pay for my beer. <br/><br/>I don’t know, the menu looked good, the food everyone else was getting look good. <br/><br/>I just didn’t have the aura of someone that was here to eat.

Fan-damn-tasting!! No other comments needed. <br/><br/>If you leave here hungry it is your own fault.<br/><br/>The right mix of spice blended well with the fresh seafood.<br/><br/>Pair it with a Lonestar beer...you are in Texas after all.<br/><br/>Alma was out server and did a fabulous job.

I live over four hours from the coast and looked forward to getting some good Cajun/Seafood while in Beaumont. When passing through going east I saw the restaurant but didn't make note of the exit. Coming back there were no signs and I went passed it. I turned around and still went passed it...ended up backing up. The Interstate turns there and the service road turns with it and it makes the restaurant hard to find. Having said that, it was worth it. The catfish was seasoned and the rebaked potato was delicious. The shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The oysters were small and somewhat tough but that is due to the season. It comes with garlic bread and gave you plenty...didn't have to ask for more. In fact, if we weren't traveling there was plenty to take with us. As if this wasn't good enough, our waitress, Hillary, was friendly, helpful and helped make it a memorable dining experience. Stopped in about 4 on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy and everyone was dressed very casually. Definitely will stop there again if in the area.

wish i had something good to say. food wasnt bad but nothing special. gumbo salad and steak all came out at the same time. little pricy for the quality but hey its beaumont. dont think anyone here would know the difference between good and ok food.

Went for date night with my hubby and it was the worst food we ever ate. The establishment floor were unclean, the bread extremely hard, and shrimp broquett was horrible it was just shrimp and bacon deep fried and nasty.The sirlon was horrible it was under seasoned and severely dry. The Floyds seafood platter with dirty rice was the worst the catfish was not cooked properly and the shrimp were horrible . Nothing was good but the lemonade. I would not recommend this over price slop to anyone.

Not impressed... Very busy... Staff seemed overwhelmed.... Like raw fried catfish??? I would have shared, this as well as the attitude I got. Floyd's used to be good... Not sure what happened.

Our waiting time at 4pm was only 15minutes. The place was clean. Food was tasty. Try the bar trash!!!! Seafood salad was fresh and tasty. * flounder was good....loved the ice tea....

Our favorite. We love crab, oysters and ceviche. Floyd's is always the place we go to eat these things. The food is delicious, have never had anything even half way bad.<br/>Everything is Very good, from food to service.<br/>We have told lots of people about Floyd's ceviche, it is some of the best, full of crab, shrimp, that's all I can eat!

The food is usually great. Just make sure you don't get Darlene for a waitress. She's nice enough. Just not very attentive. The rest of the staff is pretty good for this area. I recommend either the crab balls or stuffed jalapeño for an appetizer. Then the stuffed shrimp or a bowl of gumbo for the main course.

Subpar food/value. I ate there a few nights ago -had the seafood gumbo. It was an $8 bowl of broth with a few shrimp and little else with a cup of rice on the side. It was heavy on salt and pepper, but little else. I will not go back nor do I recommend.

Great Food. Really wonderful meal. At my table we had: hushpuppies (jalepeno), onion rings, fried alligator, and fried catfish. Everything was outstanding. Some of the platters and steaks are a bit pricey. The service was very good. I recommend giving it a try.

Bad service. Waitress brought me crab balls instead of boudain and told me boudain balls com with crab. When i complained and refused them she took them away, said nothing and stayed gone for awhile...only good food item ive had there are the raw oysters.

Less trendy but cozier. We've been to Floyd's several times with friends and enjoyed it each time. Good food and good variety. Friendly staff. The appitizers and seafood dips make a meal for light eaters. We also enjoy the quieter, more laid-back atmosphere of the place. They don't mind if you linger and hang with friends and have a few drinks after dinner. That's another plus....unlike the more well known cajun kitchen down the freeway a bit, you can actually carry on a conversation at your table. Far less noise.

Good place to eat. I have always enjoyed eating here. Especially enjoyed the crab dishes. Crab Meat Au Gratin and the Crab Bisque. Floyds doesn't skip on the crabmeat. Always seems to be plenty of food. Drinks have been good too. Less expensive than some other local Cajun seafood restaurants.

I have been eating Cajun seafood across Louisiana for years, and I have had some superb meals. This one is absolutely among the best. Crawfish bisque (choose creme style) was a thing of beauty! The seafood stuffed eggplant was chocked full of crab and shrimp: it may be one of the best seafood dishes of all time -- but you have to ask for it. It is not on the menu. I hear the cravat gratin is very good as well. I miss the old Don's Seafood both here and in Shreveport -- but omgoodness! This helps slot!

Something fishy going on!!. I ate twice for lunch at the Beaumont location. First time, I didn't like the gumbo and the second time my colleague did not like the crawfish etouffee. The general manager was very rude and basically told us if we didn't like it to go somewhere else to eat. BAD!! BAD BUSINESS!! A word to the general manager --everyone is not going to like everything. Not to worry though, we want be back.

Great Cajun Seafood. Love the stuffed fried shrimp, gumbo, crawfish bisque and crab meat augratin. Also, the steaks are good. They also have homemade onion rings that are grrrrreat.

Eh.... Every time I have eaten here, the food has been disappointing. It's always too bland or too salty -- the food is never well-seasoned and I usually end up feeling sick after my meal. I miss its predecessor, Don's Seafood (at least from its glory days before it started going under).
