Dinner at the Black Sheep in Beaufort North Carolina this weekend what’s some family and friends. Upon arriving we were seated and greeted quickly but it did take a quite few minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. In fact we ended up walking up to the bar to order our drinks. Other than that the experience was pretty good over all. I had the Caesar salad although I did we should have a bit more Caesar dressing for my taste. So if you order Caesar salad you may want to ask for an extra amount of dressing on the side. We also ordered the pepperoni pizza which was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while! Encrust in the cheese and sauce was just absolutely delicious! My sister-in-law is gluten-free so she has a gluten-free cheese pizza she said it was good. Overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend black sheep if you are in the area and looking for some tasty pizza!
We keep coming back here every time we're at Beaufort, whether by boat or car, especially when we have company. We can dock right in front, which makes it very convenient.
This time, we ordered a burrata, which was so creamy, although it should have come with balsamic glaze. We asked, and they gave us some. Entrees ordered include their margaritas pizza (very tasty) and chicken salad sandwich, which was a fairly good portion. Service was quick. And btw, don't forget to check their lounge. Great place to people watch.
I enjoined a pleasant dinner on the water at Black Sheep. I really liked the tomato pizza, which had many different cheeses and a crispy crust. As an appetizer, I ordered their famous baked pimento cheese, which included the delicious cheese dip with pita bread to dip in. The food and atmosphere are very good. The only problem is that it took about 40 minutes after I ordered to get my appetizer. Other than the egregious wait for my food, I had a good dinner at this restaurant.
Pictures do not do justice to this pizza. We had the charcuterie pie. Your only disappointment will be not ordering enough. Service was fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. Charcuterie board and pizza rolls were incredible. A must have in the area.
Definitely will go back if ever in the area. Ordered pizzas and it did not disappoint, delicious and loved the crustiness of the dough, toppings were generous and price was conducive to quality and quantity. Waitress was helpful, pleasant and answered all questions about menu. The restroom was very clean and fresh.
Everything on the menu can be created gluten-free, which is a huge relief for GF folks. The food was delicious and the service was amazing!
If you're visiting Beaufort, NC, go to this restaurant! Beautiful waterfront setting, excellent cocktails, great crab dip, and some of the best pizza around (I've traveled world wide and they make my top 10 list). Service was top notch as well, they even pay to have nice napkins as well. We can't wait to visit again!
We stopped in here to grab sandwiches before we went out on the water. We both got Cubans and they were good. It wasn’t the best Cuban I’ve had, but it was still good. The chips are Miss Vickie’s so they just throw in a bag. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the value versus the price. I know Beaufort is expensive, however, this place was really overpriced.
My significant other recommended this place for a great dinner by the waterfront, along with its pizza! We sat outside and had amazing views of the dock, the water and the islands in the distance. Service was great, we both had coladajitos (which were absolutely amazing!). He had the Pedro pizza and I got Margherita. I'm so happy I gave this place a shot because it was totally worth visiting! The pizza is perfect in texture, thin dough with thick and fluffy crust! Highly recommend!!
The views were second to none! We came in from Michigan and had so many recommendations while staying in Emerald Isle, and this restaurant is our fav!! Views of numerous pods of dolphins and wild horses across the bay - this is a VERY special restaurant! BONUS — the entire staff was just so lovely. Our server had the cutest southern accent and he was such a doll. They were really busy and I was impressed with how relaxed he was. A total pro! We are going back again today and will be back every time we visit Emerald Isle! Oh yeah, THE FOOD! Very best pizza and don’t skip on the appetizers! The drinks!! I could go on and on! This ended up being one of the best spots for our kids who were so mesmerized by the dolphins and the wild horses. Don’t miss this spot and tip well - best staff and servers we’ve experienced while visiting the area.
