5th Ave Deli & Grill

Quick service with a good breakfast menu. Good coffee, a great waitress. Nothing special, but has a comfortable, simple feel. I enjoyed my casual breakfast while reading a book, sipping a coffee, and watching the flow of regulars come in and out. The restaurant is within a luxury apartment complex, so while it's not difficult to find, it's not situated as you might expect.

This restaurant is part of the Hamptons apartment complex in the MIDDLE stand alone building. [Same building as leasing office]. I have picked up orders here from GrubHub. The Sandwiches seem to be pretty bangin' and the Buffalo Wings are very good. Any person can eat or dine or get orders to go here; you don't have to live here. If you do live here you've got your very own apartment restaurant. There is a small bar area that seems to get decently popular. You will also find senior citizens dining inside.

This is their 2nd location and has a Bar & Full Dinner menu including Fish Tacos ($14), Pasta Aglio sauteed with Tiger Shrimp, Kalamata olives, Red peppers and Baby Spinach ($14), and a Certified Angus 20 oz Rib Steak ($25) that is just so tender, juicy and mouthwatering. My favorite dish: Poutine, a fancy French word for a mountain of French Fries smothered in Gravy and Gooey Melted Provolone Cheese. My Insider Tip: Get there weekdays between 4-6:30 PM and slurp down $5 Martinis!! You never heard of them? Hmmm... They must be Beachwood's best kept restaurant secret. They are nestled in the Hamptons Apartment Shopping Complex across George Zieger Road from Dillards. Turn onto George Zeiger from Cedar Road and look for sign. It's open to everyone with easy, peasy parking. So what else? How about great breakfasts (Corned Beef Hash!!), overstuffed corned beef sandwiches, ample vegetarian choices (Falafel, Humus, Flatbreads, Entree Salads, Lentil soup, etc.) and classic american dinners (do the Meatloaf). Plus, 5th Avenue Deli & Grill serves killer Lebanese food including the best Hummus I've ever tasted. So there you have it - a Unique Eatery with Friendly Service and a to die for Steak Dinner. In fact, I loved it so much, I offered to run their Facebook page!!
