Los Paisa Restaurant

Not so good! Placed an order for pick up, told them I would be there in 30-45 minutes, arrived at the 45 minute mark. They decided to start preparing my food. When I got home I found orange rice with carrot pieces and no flavor, under cooked doughy chimichanga and what looked like mushed up baked beans. Called to voice my concerns, was told that I should have ordered it extra crunchy. What ever happened to good old fashioned COOKED food?!

I'm surprised there are no other reviews on here that make mention of this restaurant's filth. There are so many fruit flies hovering in the basement, one almost flew in my mouth as I took a drink of my warm beer. I believe I may have found one of the sources behind the flies (see attached picture, knot in wood table holding old, crusty, moldy food/rice). Slow service, semi-cranky and average food. I don't recall another restaurant that I have been to that has had this many insects flying around inside. Absolutely disgusting.

One of the only authentic Mexican restaurants left in Milwaukee. Manolo cooks all of his food using old Mexican family recipes. You get complimentary chips, salsa & beans when you first sit down...the staff is QUICK, the food is delicious (Bam Bam tacos) and the margaritas refreshing! The prices are a bit high, but 100% worth it! Also, their fresh guacamole (made to your liking) is a must try!

My boyfriend and I were driving around fox point looking for a place to eat and saw a sign, tacos and tequila. Called to make sure they were doing dine in, they were and they have only a few tables but had room for us. Our server Maria was very attentive and friendly, food was amazing, margarita deals were a steal! Will be our go to place for a night out. Recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for great food, service and drinks!
