Review Lighthouse Restaurant - Bayou La Batre

Very good food. We had the grilled seafood platter and it was delicious. My wife lived the Cole slaw. The crab claws were devine. We will be going back again. Service was great as well. This is a cozy little place off the beaten path.

First time trying fried crab claws and fried okra… really good! The burger was good too. Fresh! Nice employees too.

We loved this hole in the wall restaurant! The crab claws were to die for. My husband loved the yummy gumbo. The homemade ranch was delish. (I'm a ranch critic 🤣) We will definitely be back next time we venture this way again. We are staying in dauphin island and it's worth the drive to Bayou LA Batre. Oh and the waitress we had was the bomb.

The food was good and it was nice and hot. My wife had crab claws and I had grilled shrimp and fried fish and they both were good. When you walk in the restaurant they don't appear to have much seating but as we followed the waitress were surprised at how much room they do have. The service was very good and the waitress was friendly and very attentive to our requests. We have been here before during Covid and had to get take out, but this time we were able to dine in with no rush to get us out. We will return in the near future.

So yummy! My son got crab claws on the kids menu and he loved them. I got the fried flounder it was goooooood. My husband got the hamburger steak and he loved it too! When we pulled up we weren't quite sure about it but my cousin said we must go and we are glad we did! We went at 3 and there weren't many there which we liked!

It was my 1st time visiting the restaurant. I got a warm and loving Experience when I walked in the door and it continued until I left the restaurant. They make you feel like you are loved and cared for as kings and queens. The place is very clean. The staff is so loving, helpful and very supportive In helping you Order what you want, your way and the results was absolutely beautiful. They give you lots of food and it all tastes good and fresh. This is a place everyone must visit and I promise you will keep going back over and over again. Enjoy it!

This place has a very homey feel to it. The atmosphere was awesome. Made me feel like I was at a family fish fry. And even though the rising prices of everything right now are outrageous, they were still on the cheaper side. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely return.

Mediocre front desk customer service. Food was very well made. Haven't had food from this establishment for a few years, decided to stop by. Food was great. Prices are decent. I recommend for salads, and seafood meals. Decent cleanliness. I had a to go order. Waited 10 to 15m, not bad, worth the wait.
