Friendly service and the muffins were ok, but everything else was bad. The vanilla frappe tasted like an ash tray, the shop looks dated and neglected, and they only take cash/venmo. First and last time going.

It’s just coffee… the people are very nice. Cash only or Venmo kind of inconvenient. Small breakfast snacks available are pretty good. Sort of messy inside. Very affordable.

Service was good at the counter. Bakery was stale and specialty coffee wasn’t anything to write home about. Ceiling tiles are dirty and stained, decor is junky.

Awesome coffee! Just moved to the West Side and this will be my go to coffee shop. The coffee has a very rich and smooth flavor; if you get a flavor, it’s not over sweetened. Absolutely terrifific coffee!

Cannot understand how this place is in business. Incredibly dingy, ceiling is dirty and falling apart, decor is shabby, and the table we sat at seemed to wobble a lot like it was about to come undone and fall over. Drinks here are cheap, which is good, because they are terrible. Coffee is possibly the worst I have ever tasted- watery, stale, and burnt all at once. It was like the coffee grounds were just sitting in dirty dishwater and hadn't actually infused. Espresso drinks were very sweet, and also had a burnt taste that I'm assuming came from the espresso. Muffins tasted like they had been made days ago. The employees are the one nice thing about the place, and the young man who served me was very friendly, answered all our questions, and got everything served quickly. Unless you're REALLY desperate for cheap coffee, take your business elsewhere. I will not be going back.

Java Bay Is An Awesome Coffee Shop! The Owner Is Super Nice And The Homemade Baked Goods Are Off The Charts. Nice People . This Is A Real Coffee Shop. Not A Commercial Hipster Place. Unique, Comfortable, Affordable!!!!! Located Right In The Heart Of Bay Village!

Shocked to see the reviews were good here. I ordered an iced vanilla cinnamon latte and it was beyond undrinkable! It was like drinking a bottle of flavored syurp. I asked if i can exchange it for a regular coffee which she did and it was the worst coffee ever! So i left

A smallish coffee shop nestled in the elbow of a small strip shopping-and-services strip center, it offers a cozy, friendly alternative to chain coffee mills. A place where friends meet after a walk or workout. Family owned. Welcoming atmosphere. Good mocha.
