Review City Pork Lsu - Baton Rouge

If you are on campus anytime, stop by. This is one of the places on campus that if you like a good tang, you will love it here. Not to mention their Chai tiger is perfect on a hot, cool or even cold day. Your choice really.

Ever had egg with a brisket? I didn't before today. Best choice of the week by golly

The pork nachos were soggy right after I got them. They switched the house chips with regular potato chips.

I love getting iced chai tigers from this place! Today I went in to get my usual pick me up and the worker who was taking my order recommended pumpkin spice chai tiger this time. It's such a great drink. Thank you (:

Staff was rude and short. I got the veggie wrap it was unsalted and soggy. chips were good tho. My girlfriend described it as "just not good" with no seasoning. Just oil and vegetables. Iced latte was good though.

I think this is the nicest place to eat on the LSU campus! The restaurant is really cute and offers a great selection of charcuterie like their other locations. I had the nachos for lunch one day. They were really tasty, but way too greasy. The dish was greasy pulled pork served over homemade potato chips, which were also greasy, with cheese on top. I’ll stick to a pulled pork sandwich or charcuterie plate next time. The coffee selections are delicious and the staff have been friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place for a coffee break to anyone, but watch the price on the food. It is a bit steep for a college campus. Maybe if you eat there you can save half for later. There is certainly enough food in each dish to do that.

I have been twice now. The first time I ordered a croissant with egg and cheese only and was charged for a sandwich with meat on it. It was a decent sandwich so I decided to give them another shot. The second time I ordered a blueberry muffin. It was $4.38, the same as a breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. It’s a pretty large muffin and it’s a restaurant on campus so a higher price is to be expected, I reasoned. The muffin I was given was FROZEN. I had to ask them to microwave it and it was still cold in the center. Thanks, but I can buy the same pre-frozen muffins for a $1 each at the grocery store.
