Review Poke City - Baton Rouge

Very delicious. Fast service. Students get $1 discount. Seaweed is a free topping here. Possibly cheapest poke in baton rouge. About $10

If you want tasty, healthy food, this is the place. Excellent service too.

Appreciated the freshness and simplicity of the ingredients, fish cuts were top notch. Definitely recommend, not Poke Loa but trending closer.....

Food prep is inconsistent. Staff are kind and respectful. I’ve been to this place three times and ordered the same thing each time, Dancing shrimp bowl and bubble tea. The staff are new to Hawaiian food and poke, so understandably are slow to make a bowl. The first time was perfect. As was the mango tea. Second time they got almost everything in the shrimp bowl incorrect. I only noticed when I got home. But bubble tea was excellent both visits. The third visit, the staff did get the bowl items correct, but said that only the owner knows how to make bubble tea. So I was out of luck as he left the restaurant earlier that day. This place is awesome but inconsistent. I fervently hope that the inefficiency does not put them out of business because I like their food and location.

I love the selection for building your own bowl. I love that the rice is warm. I would highly recommend the coconut rice and shrimp tempura. I wish I could just pick one protein for a cheaper price, because the two protein bowl is a little expensive. The few times I've come here I've had not so great service. The line team lacks in communication. Just kinda stares at you until you say something. But the food is too good for me to stop coming.

The Cajun bowl is the best. Zucchini noodles were super fresh! Reasonably priced and first time visitor friendly. The staff is very knowledgeable of their food items and don't mind assisting you. Give them a try!

Wife and I decided to try the place last night. We both built our own bowls. All of the food was good and fresh. No complaints about the food at all. One star deducted due to billing confusion (ordered online, rang up as a walk in customer, and they had an outstanding online order).

Food tasted fresh and delicious. It tasted like It was much more expensive quality than what I paid for. However, they messed up my order and after waiting for them to fix it the bowl still had ingredients in it that I did not order. I simply picked them out and enjoyed the rest but I have to deduct a star and suggest that you check your order before leaving the store.
