Review Cash's Diner - Baton Rouge

I didn’t know if I was going to dine in when I walked in. I usually eat in my truck. However, the waitress was absolutely friendly and welcoming. So I stayed. I ordered the Red beans and rice with extra sausage.... (Didn’t need the extra sausage, but I didn’t know that at the time...) The bowl of red beans and rice 🍚 is a big bowl. The beans were wonderful! comes with potato salad, Sausage, cornbread (which came warmed) and you can have the salad OR vegetable. I ordered the greens and they were really good! The Sausage is at least 6-7 inches long. If you leave hungry after eating this meal, then your fatter than I am!😃. It might as well of been all you can eat, because I was stuffed! The whole meal with the extra sausage and drink (Sprite) was just under $16.00. Well worth it! As a trucker, It’s hard to find a place you can park at and have a REAL meal and feel welcome... I will be making a point to return here.

I have been there several times to eat lunch. Everyday, they have a lunch special. The food served reminds me of home cooked meals. The food was great and the service was awesome. They have fresh cake out for dessert. The carrot cake is an excellent choice. It is a cozy diner for families to dine in.

Very large portions. Great food and very nice people. At a good price. I got the red beans and rice with greens and it was awesome. Got a Cajun po boy with onion rings as well to eat later. I shared with my two boys and they loved it.

The waitress was so kind. I went here with my daughters and they wanted pancakes, it was lunchtime so they didn't have pancakes..... After we ate, the waitress brought them each 2 pancakes she made HERSELF for them. Great customer service

Let me start with the food I ate...My fried chicken salad was fabulous!! Baked potato not so much. The only downfall to my visits was the fact that I waited almost 45 minutes before someone (not my waitress) came to ask me what my order was, then another 5 minutes to actually get my food. My ACTUAL waitress was more attentive to the patron sitting in front of me and only came to my table once. Would I come again, not unless I had all the time in the world.:/

Ok y’all! This place is great! Food is GREAT! Red beans and rice are the bomb!! Our waitress Dominique was very professional and sweet!!

Stopped by on our way home from our road trip. Food was delicious. Ordered a cheese burger and Philly cheese steak with onion rings!

The lady that waited on us was great. My new favorite place to hang out and also enjoy spending a little money next door at the casino

Great place to eat after drinking. Greasy food hits the spot for all your greasy needs. I especially love the hash browns. Service is great.

Took a chance en route from Baton Rouge to Texas. Sometimes truck plaza diners are gems just waiting to be found. My biggest comment is how dirty the diner is. Layers of grime on everything starting with the menus- I was fearful to touch them and then eat without washing my hands! <br/>Service marginal & food just edible. Best comment I have is that the coffee was good. <br/>Would not recommend.

Hidden Treasure. Myself and my wife drove from Dallas to New Orleans for the weekend and on the way back we stopped at Cash's. Wow! The people were friendly and the food was amazing!!! Thanks for the great experience!! <br/><br/>Superman and Wife
