Review Kfc - Baton Rouge

Three different times was the only or the second car and told 25 min cuz they ran out of chicken. Tried again by ordering online, but no difference... didn't get a call either even though online has you submit a number. Got there and was told it'll be 25 minutes unless I wanted extra crispy, which I said okay to and told they would bring it out to me. I'm told 3 minutes later that it'll be 18 minutes because they're barely making it.... got my food 30 min later. Staff was really polite though. I don't know if it's a staffing issue, a training issue, or if they really do just get THAT busy between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.... unfortunately I will not be coming to this location again, potentially wasting my time. Hopefully the issue is identified and fixed.

I wanted to try the KFC chicken sandwich. I LOVE Popeyes chicken sandwich. But this was not a good experience. Sign on road said the dining room is open. Sign on the door stated the dining room is closed. Window sign stated Chicken sandwich is served hot, cooked to order. Sandwich was lukewarm at best. No napkins provided nor was a receipt provided (I need the receipt to get reimbursed. I really like KFC chicken. But it will be a long time before I return here.

I ordered through the doordash app and selected pickup, instead of delivery so I could pick it up on my lunch break. I sent my friend to pick up the order because I couldn't leave work. The manager at this location had THE nastiest attitude. First of all, the lobby was closed, when there was a sign clear as day that said "Dine-in open". So My friend gets to the window and tells her she's picking up an order for me, the lady tells her that she cannot pick up my order because she isn't a dasher.. WHICH MAKES ZERO SENSE BECAUSEEEE I specifically selected pickup so "I" can pick it up not for no dasher to deliver it. So while my friend was trying to explain to her that she has me on the phone because I selected pickup, she proceeds to close the window on her refusing to give her my food that I paid for. Then she had already handed my friend the drink, just for her to tell my friend to give her the drink back because my friend isn't a dasher. You don't have to be a dasher to pick up your food, if you selected pickup. The lady was so rude and refused to listen. I then called KFC trying to explain, in hopes that the lady would listen before my friend left, she told me that it has to be picked up by the dasher and HUNG UP IN MY FACE. BUT IM CONFUSED???? If I selected pickup instead of delivery, WHAT DASHER IS GOING TO PICK IT UP???? Long story short, I never received my food & I'm currently waiting on a refund. The problem isn't even the refund or food at this point, the problem is how rude and nasty she was being. Stop hiring these old women who have no type of common sense and making them managers.

That chicken sandwich is HIGHLY COMPETITIVE versus Chick-fil-A. Put a splash of Nashville Hot on it and it's over the top!

Unpleasant employees at this location during the night shift. They were out of many drink options and gave me just two carbonated drinks when I told the drive through lady she took them back and said she will bring them out to us if we pulled around. We waited in the car and no one came outside with the drinks so I just walked in and no one acknowledged me or said anything after I took the drink cups they filled up that were just sitting out. The girl just stared at me when I took the drink and she walked away without any acknowledgement. When I got home to eat the meal the biscuit wasn’t even fully cooked and was raw dough in the center and my kfc bowl had no gravy on it? I specifically mentioned the gravy and said they could use extra i wouldn’t be mad and I got one with no gravy

Will be back. The chicken tenders and fries are so crunchy & tenders are battered perfectly. If Janea tells you it will take 5 mins for fries, most def. wait for them. She was so friendly, awesome attitude, too bad more places don't have her or people like her as an employee..

Not sure how you can mess up this badly… I ordered on the mobile app and went to pick up. I arrive at the drive through and am told to park in front of the building and they’ll bring it out to me. 30 minutes go by and still no food so I go inside and am told “we didn’t forget about you, we had to make it fresh”. Another 15 minutes go by before I receive my order. My chicken sure wasn’t fresh, they forgot one of my sides, and the fried chicken that was ordered wasn’t even correct. Glad it took nearly an hour for “fast food” only for it to not even be correct.

Horrible service at this location. Worst experience, worst food. Don’t go there.
