Review Starbucks - Baton Rouge

Who doesn't like coffee! Stopped by may 7 to get some, walked in and ordered. Then, to my surprise, I was ignored by the counter for 45 minutes while the staff made the drink I ordered 6 times for people that came in after me. This also happened to 2 others that were also getting coffee at this time and place. Finally, once everyone but us 3 had left and the drive through was empty, they asked us collectively what we were here for. We proceeded to enlighten the staff as to the fact that we had not gotten what we had payed for. Finally, they made our orders. No apologies, just the most abrasive I don't care additude I've seen at Starbucks. Was a disappointment. Still like coffee though. Not a fan of losing over an hour of my day to ineptitude

Pretty busy with a line wrapped around the building. I wish they would bring back the stick that keeps the coffee from spilling out.

Person taking order at drive through got the order wrong. I ordered 3 items a paid for 4. I used the app to pay. When I got home I called and talked to the manager. There was nothing he could do unless I drive 5 miles back to the store for a refund for the 4th item. Even though I paid with the app, I still needed to go back to the store. Sorry but with rush hour and price of gas it was cheaper for me to stay home. The person that took the order said she was new. She never repeated the order back to me even though I had to repeat twice for her. This is a manager issue. She should not have put in that position. That is one store to avoid.

So, I stopped at this subway last week and found friendly welcoming employees that made us delicious drinks without skimping on anything! They were also masked and the entire prep area and store was clean. It was awesome! I don't feel baristas get the credit they deserve and these ladies were incredible! Great experience! If you have a chance give this location a visit!

Worst Starbucks I've been to in Baton Rouge. I arrived, sat at a table with my computer, made a phone call, then went up to the counter to order coffee and get some cookies. I stood in front of the cash register for about 5 minutes with all of the staff doing other things and only staring at me constantly as if I were out of place, as if they were wondering what I was doing in front of the cash register (er... I would like to order coffee, like everyone else who comes into a Starbucks?). Nobody cared to say "someone will be with you in a minute", or "I will take your order, give me a couple of seconds", nothing. It is very uncomfortable to have staff just staring at you from behind the counter with nobody caring to say anything or, much less, come up to the cash register to take my order. I stayed in this Starbucks for about 2.5 hrs. I heard one of the staff members tell a guy they closed at 8:30, so at 8:00 I went to the bathroom, I came out of the restroom at 8:04 and a staff member came up to me immediately, with a very bad attitude, to tell me that they were already closed. I told her that I had just heard someone else tell another customer that they closed at 8:30, that's why I hadn't left, but that I would leave immediately. She walked away from me without saying anything, like she was truly annoyed to talk to me. I left within 30 seconds and I will never come back. Also, this Starbucks was dirty and some of the power outlets don't work.

I thought I would give them another try. BAD DECISION!!! They are always out of everything now and what the baristas recommend to compensate for what they don't have, SUCKS!!! Yesterday, the Starbucks on Highland was out of vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, whipled cream and white chocolate mocha. For $8.00 a freaking cup, I should be getting EXACTLY what I want. PLEASE JUST SHUT THE DOORS. I don't know what happened but Starbucks is horrible now and definetely not worth my $7.63 pet visit anymore.

I have always had a pleasant experience at Starbucks. I look forward to my next visit.
