Really large and well smoked wings with a great sauce. Pizza is well cooked and had toppings a plenty, but it was a hair thin. This allowed moisture heavy ingredients to make it a bit soggy, but that is an easy fix with a request. The individual who took care of us was attentive but distant so my wife and I could really enjoy ourselves alone.. given the pizza comment he saved the 5th star here so kudos to him. Overall, good vibes and good food.

The first time we visited this place, it was so good and fresh! This time we went, the wings were cold and very dry. The pizza did not seem fresh because it was warm when it came out and the crust was soggy. I actually felt nauseous after eating. The two stars are for the atmosphere and great vibes. The bartender was also very sweet and attentive.

Let's start with the atmosphere. The place is clean, open, has pool tables and plenty of TV's throughout. The staff were friendly and the artwork on the bar wall was really nice. That's where most of the four stars comes from but...
As for the food...the pizza slice is large, but very thin. Which I'm alright with as NY style is my favorite, but the pizza I had was VERY oily. Don't get me wrong, I love some greasy pizza but not when it's seeping down and leaves a pool before you've picked up the pizza. Flavor was good, but the bottom of the pizza was also a bit burnt.
Bottom line: atmosphere is 4 stars, the pizza is a 3.

Aweeeeesome pizza and the drinks are good and affordable too! I also love that you can get a "slice" of any of their pizzas which is 1/4 of a pizza that works out to two large slices. I had the White Chicken Pesto and would definitely recommend. Also you have to get the Sugo Pane as an appetizer! Best cheese bread ever.

The appetizers and drinks were really good! The margaritas for happy hour were spot on and the mozzarella sticks were a little slice of Heaven! I will be back to try their tacos!

I wouldn't say that City Slice is the BEST pizza place in BR. There are so many good ones and it truly depends on your pizza tastes but City Slice is my easy, delicious go-to Pizza and a Drink kinda place. I live for the super affordable massive $5 slice option and can't ever pass up a City Lemonade (boozy) to drink. If you love good mozzarella sticks theirs are massive and soooo cheese pull worthy!
Great atmosphere, great pizza, great price. Hard to go wrong, right by LSU Campus!

G.O.A.T. pizza: Dough too flimsy and wet. Cannot hold toppings, so expect to eat with a fork and knife. Server came and apologized that our pizza was delayed because they dropped it on the floor. Maybe the dough was lacking because they rushed to fix their mishap.
Wings: Lackluster sauce. Raw in some wings.
Spaghetti and meatballs: meatballs are a bit too tough.
Just because it's close to LSU, don't be fooled. Get your pizza elsewhere if you want a better bang for your buck.
