My first lebanese restaurant in US. Halal food and very clean, nice ambience. Price is also very reasonable. Best thing on the menu is lamb gyro, lamb shank and chicken dishes. Very good for collage and grad students. I wish I had Atcha where I live now.

Well prepared and fresh Mediterranean food in a casual setting not far from the Louisiana State University campus. The vegetarian plasterer for just under ten dollars is a bargain, with generous portions of hummus, eggplant, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, pa, and salad. Not the best Mediterranean food in town, but quite a good value for the price and location.

Terrible food, terrible decor. The dining room was cooled by a window unit that was set to 82 degrees. The restroom was easily ten degrees hotter. We should have left as soon as we went in. The place was empty except for us. A fly bothered us for at least three minutes nearly landing on our food. I only went b/c of a Groupon, but regret it now. Not worth any deal, would not go there for free food! Food was greasy and cheap but not in a good way! We threw away half our food, couldn't force ourselves to eat it all. Dining area looked dirty and had many mismatched, chipped chairs and tables. We even noticed that the glass was cracked in one of the windows. We did tip the guy at the counter b/c he was friendly and definitely was not getting any other tips; this place was empty during a Saturday lunch time.

I had to knock off a star because of the decor, but don't let the broken concrete and damaged store signs prevent you from stopping by. This is the best Greek food in Louisiana. Atcha uses a variant of yogurt sauce that is a rare find. $15 will buy you a two serving feast of juicy chicken, gyro, or lamb shank (on Fridays.) I no longer live in BR but stop by whenever I can.

The quantity of the food is not as plentiful as other Mediterranean restaurants in Baton Rouge. The quality of the food also seems to be lacking. It does not look or taste fresh. The falafel is the only reason I gave this place two stars.

Very nice place if you want to try a new Lebanese dish. The place is usually quite, food is served hot and quick. Prices are very reasonable and staff are welling to help.

Bland food, truly dull salads, and slow, unenthusiastic service make me wonder how they stay in business. I've eaten at most of the Greek/Lebanese places in town and this one is a solid "Meh" on the Nomometer. They could at least get some better air conditioners since it's always hot in there during summer months, which is about 10 months out of the year down here.
