Review Superior Grill Highland - Baton Rouge

I ordered tacos and omg they were absolutely delicious! The waiter was extremely nice and helped us customize our orders due to some in my party being allergic to certain foods. Food 10/10 service 10/10 extremely clean bathrooms as well, hand sanitizer, masked waiters, bar area, easy to read menu, great coffee too!

Food is good but come at lunch, even on the weekend. Dinner is pricey. Great atmosphere & decor. You can smell the mesquite! I guess Tex Mex than just Mexican.

Food was good, service was good as well. Atmosphere in this place is pretty nice. Good place for dinner or lunch. We had chicken fajita which was good. Overall good place. Will recommend this place for a date or a night out with friends.

Of course they have excellent food . There’s also clean and charming facilities, excellent staff and customer services. They dot every i and cross every T! I got my to go order timely, with complementary chips and salsa. They thought to tape my soup top, put the toppings in a separate container and add a foil bottom to my to go bag to keep things hot and fresh. Great to go system. The margaritas are always tasty and strong. Must be wonderful management, keep up the great work! Restaurants like this never go out of business if they never start slipping from such great standards! Customers feel and appreciate the little details, thank you!

Very good Mexican/Tex-mex dining indoor and out. Love the front patio at the Highland location.

Stopped through on the way to our destination and was craving spinach enchiladas. Fortunately, they were open until 11 so we were able to make it in time. The spinach enchiladas with rice and beans and spinach quesadillas were delicious!!!! I mean wow! I was standing at the smaller bar and 3 people saw me looking clueless and didn’t help me. One girl who was clocking out asked if I needed help and directed me to the larger bar to pick up the to go order (she saved them a star). The bar tender was very pleasant and a great salesman. Got me to get a $15 margarita to go. When I saw the receipt I felt it was overpriced, but the amount of food received with all the fixings and the family style container made me feel like I definitely got my money’s worth from the extraordinary food and portions provided. I would definitely return to enjoy the lovely, clean atmosphere!

Normally my wife and I go to the one in the city but due to Covid restrictions we decided to try the highland location and it was worth the drive. Excellent atmosphere, food, and drinks! Outstanding service as well. If you guys looking for a great experience, I’d suggest visiting superior grill highland.

I’ve been twice over the last month and likely will not return... Food quality is average at best, salsa is bland, shrimp enchiladas were disgusting... the $14.00 margaritas, sucked! Overpowering flavor of triple sec.. not good! A Tex-mex place that cannot make a good margarita should be a red flag!!! The waitress was more interested in talking to the other servers than waiting her tables... Tonight—- Three margaritas, a taco salad, a small side of guacamole, seafood queso with chips was $85.00 before the tip... To me a great restaurant experience is when you leave saying “that was delicious and worth every penny!!” Honestly both times I left this place feeling like I got completely ripped off... I don’t mind paying top dollar, but you should leave feeling like you had a top dollar dinning experience... and that was not the case! Not even close!!! Maybe a name change to “Over Priced Inferior Grill” is in order....

The place is nice. I especially like the outdoor patio area. The like the live music. However, there is a lot of room for improvement. I work and live close by. I have come here many times, different times of day, and have sat in most sections of the restaurant. The service is terrible. Your waiter seems to be everywhere but near your table. The food is average. Everything is overpriced. The margaritas are too sweet and the mixed drinks never taste right.

1- The salsa had no flavor. Tasted like it was bought pre- made, and not flesh made. 2- two of the meals ordered, were less then par: flavor, presentation, and plating were off. 3- our waiter was upbeat the first couple of times he came to out table, then he disappeared till it was time for the check.
