Review Raising Cane's - Baton Rouge

Natalia Arce B.
Do not go to raising canes on lee at 2 or 3pm. Around those times, it seems like the fries have to be reheated, even though only some were hot and some were cold. The chicken was the same, 2 cold and 2 hot. I am not sure why the quality of food has gone down since the summer. I used to love going to this location because I never got cold fries or chicken. Now, the coleslaw was also passed. Not sure if they left it out for a while and didn't care to smell it before they put it in the little container. It tasted stale and it wasn't even filled. Also, I asked for a little bit of ice and ended up with more ice than diet coke. And the bread was not even toasted on both sides.. only one small part was toasted.

Ok so I just came from here and they charged me a whole dollar more for lemonade and didn't even tell me it would be an upcharge, on top of that they wanted to charge me another 25 cents for a refill. I'm extremely unhappy because I could of went to Chick Fila to eat and not been charged an extra 1.25 for my drink. I told the guy ringing up my order that it was my first time eating inside and that I didn't know that they sold lemonade so I would like to try it, he really could of told me right then and there that it was a whole extra dollar to change your drink to lemonade instead of another drink and that refills cost 25 cents on lemonade. I think next time I will try another chicken place instead of this place because with the attitudes from 2 people working there on top of being charged all that extra for changing out my drink it's just not even worth it for me to eat there anymore. The only reason I'm giving a 2 star is because the food was hot and tasty they just need to write it on the board the price to change out your drink is a dollar and that it cost an extra 25 cents for per refill on a lemonade.

In thru the drive thru and out in less than 5 mins with delicious food. Canes is up there with Chick-fil-A in the best fast food in br category.

Overall the staff is nice and this is in no way an attack on them rather it is a call for training and correction to senior management. Chicken Fingers were dry, small, and hard along with the fries and they were all overcooked and lacked flavor. The overcooked chicken fingers were very tough. It seemed like the fryers were too hot ( perhaps in an ill advised effort to cook things faster) or that the chicken and fries were being left in for too long either way restaurant standards and methods are not being followed. This equated into an inconsistent brand experience as also evidenced by other reviews. Workers seemed more concerned with the restaurants closing prep than working on quality customer experience and food presentation. It's sad to see a great location and restaurant not living up to it's brand and I hope it can be turned around as I am actually a big fan of Raising Canes, but at the same time I have to offer and honest review. Attached pictures tell the story. Pictures numbered in order of listing: picture #3) Food as advertised, pictures #'s 1),2),4), and 5) what was served, small overcooked portions that look like "chicken nuggets" and overcooked fries that all had a very bland taste, and picture #6) shows the tea machine not running and mixing tea resulting in poor tea flavor and a lack of brand experience consistency. The plastic fork in picture 5) shows it all, a small shrivelled hard and overcooked chicken finger looking nothing like what is advertised in the restaurant presentation picture shown in picture 4) and also very inconsistent with what has been served and expected in Raising Cane's restaurants. A restaurant is all about consistency and customer experience so I hope this review helps senior management regain this store and bring it in line with the brand. It's sad to say this at such a great location with so much potential not living up to brand standards.

Great customer service with time from order to delivery and friendly staff. Accommodated party of five with different needs. Thank you very much for making our outing successful. Clean setting. Hot food. Cold drinks. Good day.

Fries were very hot but chicken was cold. This is not how this business should operate. It is supposed to be cooked to order and this was not the case. At 12:15 I expect all products to be hot. Will not be returning to this location. Needs improvement

I've eaten at quite a few Raising Canes, but this by far is the freshest, perfectly prepared, generous portion s and the friendlinest I've ever had at a Raising Canes franchise. New Iberia could certainly take some pointers from you. Great job!!!

Asked if I could use my tiger cash, lady asked kitchen and the fried food worker said no. Advertisement around town proudly acclaims they do accept tiger cash, however, in reality they don’t care about LSU students. Chickens soggy too
