This place and many other places like this is the main reason why I haven't been spending my money on Chinese food lately. Haven't ate Chinese in 5 months and this place was definitely a disappointment. Food definitely wasn't made with "love". Order my kids veggie low main and not one vegetable in their noodles. My shrimp low main had maybe 4 shrimp in there. Food was more on the "bland" side. Like half the places I been to in Baton Rouge they are not friendly but these people fail to realize that money can spend anywhere.

They have the best food. It's cooked to order. It's my go to when I'm wanting Chinese food. Yummy 😋

Just left there went in ordered shrimp fried rice and chicken wings first of all they didn’t prepare it fresh and when I got my food it had a dead roach on the box and roach legs in the bag!!! Please do not eat there

Terrible customer service. Point blank. Not friendly at all. This was my second experience here. First experience was back in June of 2020. They weren’t friendly then but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because a lot of businesses were operating in hesitation with fear of Covid-19. So that behavior then was noticeable but I overlooked. This time, it was worse. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. I felt so uncomfortable. So I left. That’s probably why the place was empty. They are an elderly couple so it’s like you want to have compassion but that’s no excuse for dry, condescending behavior.

I've only ordered the general tso from here, but it's been great every single time. The serving size is generous and 2 people can easily split a single lunch special. Ten+ years ago, the lunch special was 4.95$, now it 6.45$. it's well worth it. They also sell Jasmin tea from China which is really good. I'm not addicted to it, but it has a great taste. It's family owned and has no buffet.

I feel bad for the people who consider this worthy of 5 stars. Nothing about this place is good. They don't even say hello when you walk in the door, which should've been my hint to turn around and walk back out. The place looks as miserable as the cashier, too. I can forgive poor service if the food is good, but that's not the case. I've had better Chinese food at $5 buffets. My dish also didn't resemble the picture on the menu at all. They must've used pictures from the internet or something. And they don't even have any real dishes. Everything is plastic and Styrofoam. The only reason I gaff it 2 stars was at least they had it ready very quick... maybe too quick, and the serving was very large. I can only recommend this place to someone who only has a few minutes on a lunch break and a desperate craving for Chinese food.

Really good take out. I haven't had the buffet but it does seem well used when I pick-up food for take out. I find this store perfect for me to grab food on the way home to Central from Baton Rouge. It is located right across the street from Walmart and has a light for left turning back onto O'Neal for quick access back to Central via the central thruway.

Great soup!. I get take out from here on a very regular basis, and I've never had anything bad. The hot & sour soup is one of the best I've ever had. I've asked for food to be made spicy and it's almost always just right (once it seemed that they forgot). They will give you more chili paste if you ask. Yes, they are a little less than inviting and friendly, but as a regular customer, I've seen that being nice results in great service. Listen carefully when ordering, because they will repeat your order back in case it wasn't heard correctly. I only wish that I lived close enough to take advantage of their delivery.

Good Chinese food. I have used the delivery service several times and have never had a problem. The food is always hot, fresh and good. The service is courteous and prompt. I recommend this restaurant.
