Review Schlittz & Giggles - Baton Rouge

This is my first time having this pizza since 2009! I've never eaten at this location before, but my last visit was at the 3rd street location. Although it feels like it's been 100 years, I remember the pizza being really good, but just don't remember the exact flavor. Well, I must say the pizza is still AMAZING and packed with flavor!! Definitely one of the best pizzas in the Baton Rouge area, maybe even the southern portion of Louisiana. Lol I got it to geaux, but the atmosphere is relaxing and chill. I got THE BIG PEPPERONI and RUSTICO in the solo size, but it also comes in 18". Both were very delicious. Next time I won't wait over 13 years to visit again!!

INTERESTING.....(punctuation is not my specialty) Decided I would call an order in to avoid some wait time, uh-uh. It took me 9min 12sec to get there and that is how long I was on hold, in addition to being hung up. I made the presumption that they were really busy 🤣🤣🤣. NOPE! Made my way in and at the podium was the Mgr? GM? RM? (She did assist in the kitchen) IDK. Expressed my concerns and said she would address, it was said only to inform. Asked if I wanted to eat in or to go, I decided to stay. The young lady answered the phone was at the bar with ONE CUSTOMER..... Moving along, of the 5 booths there were 3 filled and two tables on the patio. 2 ppl on the oven. My waiter Marcel VERY NICE young man, third day at work. He was doing everything in his power to accommodate. I ordered GARLIC KNOTS (to my taste buds could have used a bit more garlic) when I ordered my beverage, they arrived over 40 mins later, they forgot to make. (Marcel continued to check up on me). Only one or two ovens were working at the time, idk. I ordered the "Rustico" w/substitution and that came out 12 mins after that. I ❤ a thin crust but this was RIDICULOUS (you know it is so thin that you CANNOT pick it up) my pizza was also made incorrectly. In the end they gave me 25% off my order. I was not upset (surprisingly), truly disappointed. I understand lack of assistance during the pandemic but that didnt seem like the case. They was no sense of urgency. Probably will not be returning. I like the name.

Traveling through town and was craving pizza. The pizza was spectacular loved it. Got the meats and meats pizza. When I'm back in town I will enjoy this again. Love the building very fun place.

We were visiting Baton Rouge and needed a quick bite to eat. Schlittz & Giggles was only 2 blocks from our hotel so we decided to eat there. It's in downtown, so the building is older, but who cares. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was family friendly. We ordered several pizzas and some garlic knots. The solo sized "kitchen floor" pizza was excellent. A little floppy on the crust, but it has a ton of toppings so that is kind of expected or it will burn. The full sized 18" pepperoni and ham pizza was excellent. Crust was solid and the sauce/toppings were really great. The garlic knots are amazing, but very garlicky. So if you really don't like the taste of garlic, they might not be your speed. They are covered in Parmesan cheese and a garlic sauce... So good. I didn't come to Louisiana expecting to have great pizza, not we did. Highly recommend this place.

Worst experience! The manager Ricky was very rude after there was a hair baked into the bread of my pizza. It was my very first and last visit. He attempted to pick up the slice of pizza and tried to pick the hair out of the pizza. I am beyond appalled.

Pretty schlitty time. The nachos were overcooked and it took 30 minutes to get them. There were barely any people in the place. The waitress hardly ever checked on us and when she did, she didn't even ask us if we wanted any refills even though our cups were empty. The waitress disappeared for a while and said she was waiting for us to get our nachos before taking our order, which caused us to wait an hour and a half for a pizza that was thin, dry, and barely had any toppings on it. They were so "behind" with their online orders that they stopped sitting people and only prioritized their to-go orders. People were sitting for 15-20 minutes without even getting menus yet since the waitress disappeared and spent so much time talking with other staff. Even with waiting so long, we hoped the pizza would at least be delicious. Little Caesars would've been better and taken way less time. I had such high hopes for this place💩😤

Wonderful pizza, great atmosphere and good service! Only wish they had fried mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer!

My partner and I stopped in for some pizza. We were the only ones in the building dining. The waitress was very attentive to us and constantly coming by to refill our drinks. I mean considering we were the only people dining. Our pizza was good and hot.
