Review Kamado & Golden Dragon - Baton Rouge

A real hidden gem due to its secluded location but this is my favorite Chinese take out restaurant in Baton Rouge. Nothing fancy, just honestly delicious food with good variety at an affordable price point. Try the beef stew pot.

Friends and b I stumbled on this little gem returning to Lafayette through Baton Rouge. The sushi was very good, service was just right. Never hovering, but always there when needed to take order or fill drinks. Excellent value. This restaurant is recommended. I will definitely return.

We went to eat here with our four young children on a weeknight. The food was delicious, and generous servings. Sushi was good and reasonably priced. This is a mom and pop operation, so there were a few minor issues with service: we grabbed our own forks because there were none on the table, food was brought out slowly instead of all at once for everyone at the table. That was ok with us though - we will definitely be back!

This place was so delicious! The sushi was fresh and affordable, and the Chinese food was very good! Whenever we can't decide what to eat, this is our go to restaurant. They also deliver if you order over $30. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating!

I have fallen in love with this place since I started going. It is not a typical buffet. They give you a sheet of paper and you check off what you want to eat. They take it, make the food fresh, and bring it out to you. Giving you back your paper to order more. Sushi, appetizers, entrées, etc. There is also menu you can order from if you don't want the "buffet". But I've never ordered off the menu. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. No complaints from me.

Great food, always fresh. The portion size and soup quality can shift a bit more than I'd like but it's a good mid tier sushi place for me. Not quite Ichiban quality/price but not quite Nagoya/Tokyo Grill either. A little more expensive but worth it.

Quiet atmosphere, very well done. All you can eat sushi for $22!! You get sides, salad, ad desert included. Great and fresh. Quality in all they do. Great taste. New fave place.

I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner, eel sashimi and miso soup. I had it all delivered. The delivery was timely and the portions and taste were on point. My only complaint is that the soup was pretty bland. It's awesome to have a hibachi and sushi delivery service. I see many orders happening in the future.
