Review Piccadilly Cafeteria - Baton Rouge

The staff was friendly, the food was ok. If you have ever been to Piccadilly you know the food is not always seasoned well, (have your salt and pepper ready) but it was more than enough food. Overall they were great.

This is the third time we have eaten here and it was just as bad this time as it was the other two times. the fried catfish wasn't done and the salad had a bad tomato in it. the hamburger steak had so much salt in it, we couldn't eat it. the good point was the waitress knew this and she gave us some free desert. She was very nice. we will not come back. 3rd strike! it cost us $32 for two.

From the time I entered, very clean, staff friendly, food good and waiter Josh was awesome, he brought me napkins before i could ask, held a small conversation, checked on each customer as they say down. This kind of service is a "Dinosaur" these days. But Piccadilly CEO and COO and Immediate supervisors , give honor where it is due Josh and the Line staff and very nice Cashier. Do not overlook them and you take the credit for the good service. They we're awesome. And I will come back to this Essen Lane location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thank you all so much for making my eating experience so comfortable.

We had the chicken fried steak with white gravy green beans garlic bread. It was fantastic the meat was one half inch thick, Nancy and I could have shared one. We had to get a to go bag, to bring home. We love this place.

WOW! I have been three times. I was hoping to get that Piccadilly experience I remember. Not at this location.... food was barely warm, several empty pans on the line, even the quality of the food was sub par. If not for those hard working ladies behind the line or at the register, I would have given negative stars. They staff is great!!!! Food and cleanliness of dining area and bathroom are lacking.

The quality of the food is always consistent, and the staff is always friendly. like most places the price of a meal has increased a bit. Would be 5 stars if they had more entrees available.

The girl we had in dining room didn't come to our table but 1 time and we were there about a hour and half if I needed something I went and got it myself. By the looks of it she was prejudice she catered to her color and the hell with the white people.

Worse than I even thought was possible.. Thugs working the counter that were rude and whatever the cook was smoking , it must have been good. I doubt my dog would consider that stuff edible.

No way, never again, horrible.. Recipe for broccoli soup:
Open can of Pocahontas brand "white sausage gravy," the same one used to cover sausage patties at breakfast. In fact, literally the same gravy leftover and sitting heated all day.
Sprinkle with McCormick dried broccoli flakes.
Serve.
No, I am not exaggernting. Broccoli flakes in country gravy. This was not even Campbell's canned soup. This vomit was beyond belief. Dried flakes in sausage gravy.
Piccadilly has been going down hill in food quality for a long time.
Now they're in bankruptcy.
Wonder why? You treat your customers like they don't exist, you ratchet down the food until it is more prefabricated than a Ryan's, you charge north of seven dollars for less quality and freshness than one would get from a vending machine sandwich...
Completely deserves to close. Unfortunately, when it mercifully does, every Baton Rougean will lament how "good it used to be." Smiley Anders will get 200 letters. What tripe!
Number one, it was never really that good,.
Number two, that's what they've been plopping down on plates for several years: number two.
Smells like they haven't washed the carpet since smoking was allowed.
Absolutely disghusting in every way.
