My hubs n I hav been goin to Pearls for about 10 yrs now. We move away at times but when we r living n the area this is our Chinese restaurant spot. They still recognize my hubs

I love Jenny and this restaurant. I come here multiple times a day for delicious Asian cuisine. Their sushi is delicious, but on the large side (forcing my wife to cut them in half). 11:00 - 2:00 is fresh buffet. 5:00-8:00 is fresh buffet. Between those times, I'd suggest ordering off the menu instead.
The hot and sour soup is my all time favorite and there's is the best in town!! When I'm sick I crave this soup! My daughter loves the pepper shrimp! Very nice people!
The food is so fresh. Prepared throughout the day. Extensive menu with so many options. Wonderful fresh made to order sushi. Plus sushi on the sushi bar. The buffet is always a wonderful choice. Go here. You'll be glad you did.
We were surprised by the buffet. They have a full menu too. But after looking at the buffet we had that. It was small batches, all fresh, all good. Sushi on buffet too. Do give it a try.
It has great food! The prices are reasonable and it is family friendly.
I am a good customer and eat at this place often. I am not a big buffet person but they keep the food fresh & hot all the time.
On another note I ordered off the menu today and got the Honey Chicken with fried rice. This was the BEST!!! I even called and told them how wonderful it was!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I recently moved to the Baton Rouge are and had been looking for a good Chinese restaurant, I had tried numerous places not really liking them all that much. When I found the Oriental Pearl I was in heaven, they have wonderful food and service. I will go no other place now!!!
Best Chinese take-out in town. The buffet is okay, but I'd suggest going with their take-out menu. With so many Chinese take-out restaurants in Baton Rouge serving what seems like the exact same menu, it's a relief to find a place that really puts some effort into their food. It costs a little more than the average take-out in town, but the portions are substantial and they don't skimp on the ingredients.
Awesome!!!. We order delivery about once a week. The food is always exactly what I ordered, super fast delivery, and delicious. It's always the same super nice delivery guy too. Really well priced for the portions. I can usually get between 2 and 3 meals out of one dinner. Also as someone else said, the reusable delivery containers are nice. You can actually stick them in the microwave to reheat it, unlike the aluminum ones from some places, and who doesn't like free tupperware? no one. YAY for Oriental Pearl!!
LOVE ME SOME PEARL. Food is great.. owners are super nice and they deliver!! what more could one ask for?? oh yeah, the re-usable containers are a plus too
