Love this place. I love everything at the buffet. All great flavors and at the end of the dish I like to take the naan bread and scoup up all the remaining sauces.
Ok first off I'm really fond of this place. Not too many Indian restaurants outside of New Orleans that are worth anything, but this one delivers exactly what you'd expect. Great place to get your Indian fix, with good fast service and if you go during buffet hours the buffet is sizable. The only drawback--the price. I just paid for a tab for two buffets with ice water to drink and it was $37 before tip. Way too much. Lack of competition in the $10-14 range in Baton Rouge means that they can charge what they want.
BEST INDIAN FOOD IN BATON ROUGE! So very good. I've never gotten anything I didn't like from here. They also have an amazing lunch buffet. The waiters and waitresses are always attentive and quick to refill your water. Highly recommend this place if you like Indian food!
The food was absolutely amazing. Great Indian food. If you want to step out of your comfort zone and delve into another culture's delicious creations go to
Indian's.
Why it took me so many years to finally try "Indian food" and this particular restaurant, which I passed so many times, is beyond me. It has a loyal collection of customers who will visit as often as possible. After dining here a few times myself, I can see why.
The restaurant's bland exterior belies it's wonderful furnishings. Each table appears fit for an upscale venue rather than an establishment known predominantly for its buffet. The food is excellent, the value of the food given portions and price is outstanding, and the service is impeccable.
While the lunch buffet is not a bad deal, it only showcases a small portion of their extensive menu. There are still plenty of dishes to try which are only available at dinner. Please don't be wary of trying any lamb or mutton-based dish as the meat is quite tender and succulent.
I wish I could single out a few specific dishes but in truth everything is worth a try. The chicken vindaloo has just the right kick, the chicken tikka masala's rich, creamy flavor is popular among fans of more milder dishes, and the curry is pretty good as well.
Don't be fearful about the prospect of eating ethnic food. Honestly, this is as much British cuisine as it is Indian. There are spicy, rich, savory, bitter, and sweet options that can appeal to any palate. A visit during the lunch buffet is truly a tour of flavors. Just take it easy on the nan and wonderful desserts such as the interesting orange-tinted bread pudding. Otherwise, you are liable to be encumbered by the resultantly bloated, yet satiated and satisfied, stomach you will possess.

Loved it!!. The best Indian restaurant my family has been too... After traveling all over the United States.... we have found the best Indian restaurant!! My fave is the chicken Korma!! Mm mm mm mm I order every week and soon we will leave Louisiana to another state...we will surely miss this restaurant! Services are awesome...!!!
Do not miss this buffet, Fill up on great Indian food @ 11:30 AM for 2.5 hours @ $8.95. Same at weekends they add goat and it's $13.95.
Their naan was delicious, everything I had hoped it to be. I was a little apprehensive about trying a new Indian restaurant, as I've had bad experiences in the past. but this place was great. they have a good vegetarian menu, I was a little overwhelmed by the options and had a hard time choosing. I went with the paneer makhani and it was delicious. plus there was a lot of food and they even give you naan with it, which was awesome. for the price of the meal, I was very pleased with this place
Not the best Indian food I've ever had but given the limited options in the area it's worth a stop from time to time.
Food is amazing but the service is horrible. They are rude and ugly like you are offending their dishes eating it as an American.
First time ever experiencing Indian food. Pleasantly surprised. I got tired of always hearing about curry so decided to give it a go.
Pretty sure I hand the lamb vindaloo, the seekh kebab and the maharaja beer (Indian lager)
Definitely want to try more of the things on the menu.
Has a more upscalish feel to the restaurant like the bonefish so perfect scenario for a date night.
First time experiencing Indian food, and I have to say it was amazing! Especially the lamb! The naan was delicious! The chai tea and even the lemonade was homemade and so good! I also have to mention the family that owns the restaurant was so sweet and accommodating. We will stop again if we’re ever in the area.
The food and service was amazing. The staff was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The food was delicious and fresh. We got the meal for two and had more than enough food to feel full and the restaurant and take some home. Could not recommend this place more!

Such delicious food!
Service is the best around! Prices are also excellent, & portions great!
Good food, spiced right for me. I would visit again when I travel to Baton Rouge again.
Ordered chicken Tikka marsala and garlic naan (generally a safe choice) Came with white rice. While the server suggested mild, I asked for medium spice. Excellent choice for me- spicy enough to make your nose want to run, not hot enough to make you sweat! Sauce was very smooth, chicken nice chunks. Good rice. Not over or under cooked.
Menu states naan is made to order. So I requested that the garlic and cilantro naan be made only with garlic. They did that - excellent.
Not much ambiance to the place. Tables in large room with two areas defined, one with the bar. Made me think that maybe it could easily be setup to handle a large party.
The focus was the food, not the ambiance
Price including generous tip was $30
I somehow like the ambiance of this place although not many mention that in the comments. It's spacious and bright. The walls have many paintings of Mughal era India. The decor is simple and not overdone as at many Indian places.
The buffet was not available during Covid times. The Poori was crisp, the naan freshly baked, and the Gulab Jamun perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodated us around their lunch break.
This place is delicious and definitely worth the visit if you've never tried Indian cuisine. The manager/owner was nice and they were quick with having the food ready for pickup. I got the lamb vindaloo (it's a type of curry) and the meat was very tender. I also got a warm chai that they wrapped, so that it won't spill as I drive. I will come back again.
Great menu, lots of variety. Wish the chaat had more sauce to it, a little dry. Kati roll was great! Good service!
