F. East @ Walcot Asian Street Food

I don't comment publicly on places, for years I've decided not to. But I enjoyed this place so much because of its food but even more the atmosphere and the owners that I decided to. This is from a visiting American. Service & Atmosphere: It has a homie feel to it, the owner is so attentive to each table and is very welcoming. The place is clean and tidy. It felt like eating at the home of someone you know, but doesn't leave the restaurant comfort feel (if that makes sense). Food: The lunch menu has limited options, but it is so much more affordable than most things in Bath. We tried the noodles with beef, and they were delicious 😋. The dinner menu has many more options, and since we had already tried the noodles, we went with the special fried rice to which we added soy sauce. It was another delicious plate that did not break the bank. After dinner we spoke with the owner for a while and it was a wonderful experience in our visit to Bath. Overall if you want to go with a tasty, safe, affordable option, try this place out!

We were recommended this place as the food looked so good online. We went quite early and were lucky to get a table, they were fully booked, we took the last table. I'm vegetarian and there was lots of choice. We had a starter to share and a main each and the food was immense. Will definitely be going back.

You have to try this place! The food is scrumptious yet affordable, and the service is very friendly - they cater to allergies and other dietary requirements too. Vegan food gets its own whole menu here as well! We had 3 veg dishes (broccoli, aubergine, tofu), and the aubergine is the real star. Also had 4 meat dishes (roast duck and pork, pig trotters, and pork ribs). Very reasonably priced.

Absolute gem! The food is outstanding. Freshly cooked to order so do not be disappointed if you have to wait to be served as it is not your typical Chinese takeaway. It is definitely worth it. The service is friendly and helpful. Also, there is an expectation that your party share the chosen dishes and the portions reflect this. A great place to share food and each other's company as if you were at home.

We had a wonderful meal at F.east, we had Chinese roast duck and roast pork with rice, beef hofun with black bean sauce and wonton soup, all three dishes are delicious! They also made one of the best roast duck I have ever had in the UK! I highly recommend anyone who have never had Cantonese roast to come to F.east and ask for roast duck and roast pork with rice, you will not be disappointed!

I would highly recommend this well presented Chinese restaurant in the centre of Bath. The food was exquisite and reasonably priced, which in this day and age is exceptionally rare. The satay chicken and home made chilli sauce were perfectly paired and a personal favourite of mine. The décor was airy and modern, detaching itself from the traditional hearty cooking. - Delicious flavours - Friendly hospitable welcome - Fantastic selection of food Without doubt the best Chinese I've eaten. Visited Bath just for the day and decided to pop in to this newly founded establishment. Absolutely wonderful experience! Food was cooked to perfection with wonderful flavours (try the chilli sauce) and the food came out in no time at all. The staff were all very friendly and gave a lot of advise on what to try. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in town. Strongly recommend you feast @ walcott
