Went to bath last week and loved the atmosphere at Bar + Block. The food was nice but the experience was what we enjoyed the most. Jemma was lovely and made our time at the restaurant enjoyable.

OK so I only ate here this evening as I was staying at the premiere inn andit was pissing down with rain and couldn't be arsed with getting soaked wandering round looking for a restaurant. Can't believe I was served such a well cooked steak and really tasty sides. I had the spiral cut ribeye. Cooked to perfection. I've been a chef a long time and I am rarely happy with a meal out. Seen a few negative reviews I know things can go wrong when it's busy but this evening I sat watching the chefs work like a team smashing the food out

Compliments to the chef and waiting staff. The staff were very pleasant and polite and the chefs done an excellent job making multiple dishes for our table. All food including two lovely rib eye steaks were spot on. Will definatly be coming back. Thanks guys for a lovely evening.

The service was great! Our waitress Sofia was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. We ordered from the small plates menu, and the food was very tasty. The margaritas were very good and made from scratch.

Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures of the food. Throughout our visit we were greeted with wafts from the kitchen so by the time we received our food we were ready to eat. My mother and I enjoy a blue steak and that was the best blue steak we have ever eaten from an establishment.
There was no judgment, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
We arrived with the intention of having a couple of cocktails, making use of the 2 for 1 offer. I explained to our waitress that we may be there a while and they were happy to book the table off for us so that we could feel free to take all the time we needed.
We only managed to get the Chateaubriand to share as afterwards we were sufficiently full.
We will definitely go back the next time my mother is visiting.

The food here is delicious and freshly cooked. You can see the chefs cooking your order. The restaurant is nice and quiet but the tables for 2 are very small. The service here is friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant and I would certainly dine here again.

OMG, what can I say! Service was amazing, incredibly friendly waitress (Sarah), gave as good as she got on the banter. Starters were great, mains was amazing, accommodated the fussy ones and the not so fussy ones. I would recommend to anyone, well worth the money.

The staff were polite and very helpful. Our food was very nice and cooked just as we asked. The complimentary beef popcorn is delicious. The only downside was a very wobbly table despite all the napkins under the feet of the table.

We brought our parents here when they visited us in Bath, firstly the service was great, our waitress made sure we were happy by first moving us away from a noisy crowd of lads to a more quieter area, then dealt with a slight issue with one of our drinks later in the evening, we were more than happy with the way we were treated.
The food was great, no complaints there, would highly recommend.
