Taco Urbano

Went there at 10 am. The young man who made my Carne asada burrito did a B A N G U P job. My burrito was fat, the steak was A1, never had egg in a burrito but it's standard issue here and it's delicious. I can throw down on a lot of food and that burrito with the hot sauce<which is stoopid good and definitely worth the visit by itself> filled me up to the point where I couldn't eat the other stuff I got with it! 5/5, 10/10,

Massive confusion. Excessive lack of communication through employees. I ordered 8 steak( super dry yet my tortilla was falling apart ) 4 chicken tacos( they made pork on accident ) and a Steak burrito. We waited 30 minutes and ourfood was so dry and cold i ate one taco and threw out the rest. On top of that they charged me 9.46 for 3 tacos, 3 times. Lucky i caught the mistake and had them fix it. Not returning.

Carne asada and chorizo were very good. Their hot sauce is house made and also very good. I would not recommend the al pastor - what I had did not have a lot of flavor, was pale in color, and had no crispy bits - overall flavor and color was monotone. Pinto beans were very good - maybe need to drain a little liquid before serving. Rice was average - lacked salt. Service was friendly. It's a very laid back operation, so a little bit is left to the customer to make it a good experience. When I went there earlier in the week they were out of diet soda for a customer and it turned out that "the person" who knew how to change sodas wasn't there, so they got nothing. Had been there years ago and had a bad experience, so I gave it a chance again after they handed out free taco/drink coupons at the Cougar's game. Would go back for the carne asada taco and I'd like to try their breakfast offering.

I have been there several times since they opened. At first it was excellent, but every trip has declined in quality. Went yesterday with a friend and it was embarrassingly slow. The two guys working there had absolutely no clue what they were doing, and it took them almost 25 minutes to make our order, which was nachos, 2 tacos and a burrito. No more for me - I'll go where they seem to actually care about doing a good job.

Let me say Mexican at a gas station I was very skeptical. I have been blessed to travel many parts of the world and have had more amazing meals than I can even remember. Food here to my surprise is fantastic. Service and management are appalling and inexcusable! In the past few weeks we have visited this restaurant over 10 times. The service is normally slow, staff tends to be unhelpful, orders rarely are right, and nothing ever seems to be ready to order. Last week they ran out of chicken told us if we got steak there was no wait but if we wanted chicken it was a 25 minutes wait. Even after ordering steak we still waited 35 minutes for 2 burritos, with no one else in the restaurant. Staff could careless that it took 35 minutes they clearly didn’t want to be bothered to work while at work. We were so disappointed being that the food was sooo good but the repeated frustring experinces made me send an email to the company to give them a heads up there was room for improvement. It’s a week later and I have heard nothing back which shows the problem is on all levels of this company. Tonight we decided we would give them one more try. We tried phoning in the order for pick up thinking maybe the extremely long waiting times, and orders being messed up would be avoided with this method. This time they were out of steak once again we were willing to settle for whatever they had as long as we didn’t have to wait forever. Went to pick up the order at the time we were told it would be ready which was 40 mins later. They once again said it would be another 20 minutes on top of the original 40 minutes....if we wanted to wait for them to make it. No apologies, no how can we make it better. Just the same take it or leave it not wanting to work at work attitude. Sadly, I don’t see this amazing food being around for long. People don’t settle for horrible service when there are so many amazing choices around. Hopefully the owners get wind of what is going on before it goes under, because it would be a shame for such good food to be overshadowed by horrendous customer service and never ending frustrations.

It was the most tasteless burrito I ever had. Nothing was seasoned at all. Nothing was diced proberly. It had whole chunks of tomatoes and lettuce. The black beans were extremely dry. The salsa didn't even have a taste. The green was tolerable and even then i didn't use much. The red was horrible. I should have purchased a microwave burrito instead. No wonder it's in a gas station.
