This place is incredibly overpriced. It costs $32.13 for 5 tacos that have barely any cilantro and onion on them. The sauce is largely flavorless and the meat barely tastes like anything. This is the most inoffensive Mexican food I've ever had. It's like the subway of Mexican food in that it's edible and that's about it. The green sauce is spicier than the red sauce. It costs $6 per taco. I've had dollar tacos that taste 3 times as good. They also used tasteless white corn tortillas instead of the normal yellow ones. I had to ask for sauce they didn't give it to me. There were no limes. Go to El Sazon down the street for an immensely improved experience.

Tacos are very overpriced, for not automatically bringing some sliced lime and hot sauce with them. The mole sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. The horchata tasted like it was made with some powder. There was no cinnamon in it. Didn't taste anything authentic. On top of all that, the service was extremely slow for an empty restaurant with only a few patrons inside.

Since under new ownership we’ve been twice, once for takeout and then dined in. Delicious food!! Margaritas are better than before. Great service!!!

Great food, a hometown legend. They've been here as long as I can remember, and even went to school with the family. I can't find what year they opened, but I know it's been a Fox Valley Diamond for at least 30 years!

It really pains me to say this, since this has been an old Batavia haunt my family has gone to for many years. Food quality is still pretty good, and drinks were too. However, since reopening, the wait staff has become extremely disorganized. The dining experience took almost an hour and a half with many mistakes and a lot of unnecessary back and forth. The check was also wrong, and there was no offer to comp anything despite the length of time and many mistakes, including one of my friends not even getting her food! The place also seems pricier than I remember. Not only that, an umbrella flew away and a customer had to go retrieve it!!! El Taco, get your act together. I know you are much better than this.

I've eaten here before that's why 3 stars. Anyway was seated buy the manager and he said we are short staffed but someone would be right with us. 30mins still nobody's even brought the water But the manager has come by 5 times to say somebody's coming to help us. We left after that and went to pepe's down the road!

Food is good, but service is a bit slow. I have been going here for many years, and while it is still good, it is not at it's prime lately. They don't appear to have corn tortillas anymore, which I miss.

Great service, great food. I had the Cactus Salad with Grilled Chicken. I added the Chipotle hot salsa on top. Delicious 😋
